Premium Member Tricked By His Tomfoolery
His sophistry made sense to the hillbillies who were listening
They ran out and told it as if it was gospel
Because to them, it was
They had no idea he was a conman.
They thought he was an honest man,
but alas, they were tricked by his tomfoolery....

Tiptoe through the tulips
Tumble across the grass
Teasing behind a tree
Try kiss a Bonny lass
Time out for a sandwich
Taste homemade lemonade
Those days will never fade

Premium Member Deputy Barney Fife
Don Knotts played the role of Deputy Fife,

   Whose tomfoolery created much strife!

He bungled all that he did!

         Sheriff Taylor blew his lid,

Distressed by Barney's screw-ups that were rife!

Premium Member Advice Not From Your Mother
Yes, I say you should seek the absurd,
 the outrageous,
the deliriously mad.

I implore you to find the happy,
the joyful,
those crazed with perpetual glad.

Spend your time
with insanely laughing idiots,
where tomfoolery abounds.

You won’t have time
to resent a day of your life
with this kind
of tribe around....

Roman Empire Revisited
Crimson
and
Velvet Semen

All a sort of
Ridiculousness now,
without treasure
Trails,
Bodies of Evidence
And enough tomfoolery
to induce gluttonous
Indulgence.

And Caligula
would be proud, yes.
But not without
the papyrus reeds
swaying,
Dying.

The sink is full of
Poison water.
And I at least
with try and
Cheat death

With a single
Drink....

Premium Member Throw Me Toward a Carnival
Throw me toward a carnival
Let me dress in flowing clothes
Shaking out my hair
Wearing silver hoops in my ears.

A grifter I will be
Traveling from town to town.
Reading palms with crystal ball
Laughing at my own tomfoolery

Magic lady, hear me please.
Throw me toward a carnival.
With flowing clothes and silver hoops.
I can take it from there....

Premium Member The Boss
When he walks in
  all talking stops
No tomfoolery
  in his sweatshop

Do it right the first time
  That's why you were hired
Repeat a mistake
  You'll likely be fired

Start precisely on time
  Work hard until close
No breaks except lunch
  You can do without those...

Yet you've learned to take pride
  in yourself and your work
For a low-paying job
  That's not a bad perk...
