I used to get kind of pissed off watching him. Because I know people that actually act like him and they just drive me crazy!! Thanks for your advice on my poem . I went ahead and put it into that one contest.

Don Knotts is one of my all time favorite comedians.. Mostly cuz of hos role as Mr (RALPH) Furley;) I think when I was a little gal I had a semi-crush on him,, LOL.. He sure was a screw up, on the screen.. Poor Deputy Barney... Now I have "The Andy Griffith Show," theme whistle stuck on my mind. Bob H., this is my favorite Limerick from you.. Barney was one of my favorites when I was growing up...although he was surely the epitome of ineptness, his underlying bravery, moral uprightness, and human kindness shone brightly through the comic façade....enjoyed your work....
