Ageing

Ageing. Hearing going fast, Teeth already gone. Eyes are squinting, Hair needs tinting. Thoughts are straying, What are they saying? Back has a twinge, Need a hip hinge. Knees seem to click, Time to get a stick. Got to get a bit slimmer, Before I need a zimmer. Fingers keep locking, Need an elastic stocking. Toes get the cramp, Undies get damp. Forgot what comes next, Must be why I get vexed. Starting to nod my head, Hot cocoa and bed. G'nite. © Dave Timperley 28/09/2018
