know thyself
keep off the shelf
plot the essence of thy life
avoiding cracks of strife
then with thee shall walk an elf

Mirrors are truthful
the image portrayed is you,
oft times a stranger.
Gloomy and empty
Unable to have inner peace
Insatiable feelings of forgiveness
Losing the trust of others
Trying to rid thyself of sin
O' my soul, thou art cast down.
Thy shame hath brought thee low.
Why dost thou weary thyself with sin?
Why dost thou waste thy power so?
Praise and joy
Rising satisfaction of thyself
Ignorent one can be, if they have to much
Dispersed feelings coming together
Ever satisfied
Divine breath in me why have Thee imprisoned Thyself within the walls of the temporal?

Hanging upon that cross one last time
A lament to thine sweet Divine.
Who conquered death but thyself did die-
Well, I now know He’s here with I.
Embers extinguished
Spiritual fire remains
Wind catches the remnants
Never to be fully brought back
Allow thyself to prosper
Or thou shall never be free
Could a soul find room
at the core of an atom?
So Eve changed the spelling
thinking dim of such wit –
thought an apple a day
would keep both of them
fit....
Study cleans brain and drains vain
Here, there, everywhere makes lane
to prepare self better frame
on theme- Know thyself.

Rescue Thyself
Bestow thyself Truths.
Learn, embrace; find Holy God.
Wisdom shall then shine.

Read thyself
To read the world
Without reading self
None can read all
It’s the law
To know
Self

Body of south breeze
Seized by the falling maple
Stranded gold field
On the door of autumn sun
Nature turns to rise thyself

Knowing the love of life is knowing thyself; Knowing thyself is the knowledge of life
Knowledge is the power of creation; Creator where knowledge can reach

* Apollo's advice to Man was: " KNOW THYSELF "
Doctors say an apple a day keeps them away,
But it’s the banana that keeps disease at bay.
So enjoy the fruits you shall so often bear,
‘Cause there won’t always be plenty of food to share.
Our fellow brother
has a jaundiced eye.
It’s best to smother
our foolish heart’s sigh.
Noblesse oblige’s passé.
Why’d we trauma bond
with rabid dogs stray?
Just smile and abscond.

the wind can play the chord of whisper
the wind can sing the song of heart far
the wind can bring the peace of silence
the wind can make you as like thyself

Genre: - Tricube Poem
there is beauty in knowing thyself
the foundation and the joy can bring forth such wealth
when the natural elements show their actual truth
spread a love that is concrete and constructed by the lessons of youth
The Sheperd King ~ thou in life that art oft amidst the most is thyself.
"The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want." ~ Psalms 23:1
***David's metaphor of 'The Lord'
2019 October 20
Thy love maketh my beauty
Thy heart maketh my soul
Thou art my true paramour
With thyself I die whole
Thine eyes admire my charm
Thy smile, my ultimate goal
Thou dwell in my every emotion
Thy love maketh my heart toll
Beauty that lingers disperses itself along grasses that shiver
you lay thyself carelessly, caressing thy thoughts with nature’s beauty and worth
thyself forgot forlorn at the disposure of natures indefinite hands .......
