So often we bemoan the up-and-coming generation.  Here's my take on things...

I learned to add, subtract, multiply and divide, And always followed the teacher's directions. My kids solve complex problems collaboratively, And make unshakeable lifetime connections. So, I did as I was told til I was 40 years old, 'Stayed in my place,' and wasted the 'best years of my life;' While my kids try new things; They take chances and risks. With a network of friends to support them, and the confidence to recover from setbacks mighty quick!

Oh, Gershon, this one hit home! We definitely did things so differently, but aren't you proud of the way we allow our children to fly?

Glad it hit home. (Was it a 'home run?') ---And, yes, I'm proud of the kids and very, very happy for them as well. FINALLY, perhaps, a generation has made good on the promise/premise to give its kids the advantages it didn't have! :) Gershon
