wet violet dew gives them plenty of soak
grass is so green
snake barely seen
little mouse is about ready to croak
The great-tailed grackle

Commemorating "Alien Day".
Downy carpet hill,
Yellowed from the sunlight daze,
Rosy-shafted beams
Drifting off to sea
begin another day,
Waspy tailed whips of clouds
seemingly write
Onto the newly wet earth.
Doris was dowdy, drab, and draggle-tailed too
Forever frumpy, frightened, a failure, at age thirty-two
Jaundiced, juicy-gossipy, jealous, and July jailed
Slovenly, slithery, shipwrecked, her moment had sailed.

scorpion
pincer-tailed, sun-scorched
stalking, lurking, surviving
wind, sand, moonlight, stars
hiding, creeping, hunting
eight-legged, stinger
arachnid
Dawn debuted stealthily,
as a breeze rustling through cat-tails;
But time, toted in its attache case,
the not-looked for;
Soon circumstances of the day
were screeching like a Red Tailed Hawk
with eyes set on a field mouse.
Phantasmagorical
forest
and I am lost
in a fog of pink
and orange
devouring
blue screams
and wanting
white-tailed
zenomorphs
leading blackboard
hearts beating
in my brain
a sound like quiet.
fork-tailed azure crown
breed wolfs down trumpet creepers
they dive bomb red kites
