Premium Member Master Classes - a Kimo In Three Stanzas
Master classes were held in East Sussex
and the Sussex girl played tune
with ease to her master.

She played the grand piano all the day
and the master hummed along,
time barely noticing.

People thought they were having an affair,
as nobody else took part
in the lessons grandly.

Night Time In the Sussex Downs
My thoughts are caught on a cattle grid
Tractor tyres rumble over my ideas

The farmer's wife's bosom holds all the secrets
To an emporium of scent and voluptuous spheres

The bell rings for dinner and the daylight dimmers
The cows are a lowing and the z's climb for the clouds

It's night time in the Sussex Downs...

Nanny' S Day Off
On Sundays she likes to drive
To the country or the coast.
Cheered by fields of blazing hue,
singing hymns from home.
She threads her way
through Sussex lanes
on her only day of rest.

A substitute for azure blue,

She lets herself be soothed again
by the water’s suck and sigh.
Finding peace,
she takes her ease
between the earth and sky....

Old Flame
Not knowing she were alive or dead,
I kept her memory sedated
in the three-walled room.

Now I hear she is alive
(though a little arthritic),
and living in Sussex with four cats.

Of course the affair now must cease,
the fantasy cauterized.

I won’t, after all these years,
visit her.

I may write a letter,
with a promise to call one day,
but she will not be there anymore
and nor will I....

In a Sussex Grave Yard
His name is John Albert Cummings,
born 1878 died..... well we are not sure,
the stone is much worn.

Up we hop on the green mound,
dance the frantic dance.
The sacrilegious sex
adds risqué flavors,
drives us into an underworld
where flesh struggles
atop old bones.

Laid out spent on the turf;
panting like sheepdogs,
we giggle a prayer of thanks.

The stars are so clear --- they glitter
like prismatic ice.
John Albert Cummings born 1878
was nice....
