Memories Escaped
memories escaped
from the subconscious
mind were they had
been hidden away
for years
recapture the memories
repressing and
suppressing them
once more
locking them back up
once again in
their mental prison...

Premium Member As We Grow
As I grow older
I grow colder
but also bolder
not due to insufficiency of too quickly passing time
but just the opposite,
a growing feeling that time invites our multiculturing sufficiency
necessary for suppressing younger monoculturing addictions....

The Doc strode in, looking quite grim
'The results of your physical just came in
It's my duty to tell you this straight to your face.'

Suppressing a sigh, he opened a briefcase
'Sir,' he smiled. 'All the test results show
~ Your heart's in the right place!'...

Gripping Fate
Into my heart
Plunged the hand of fate
Suppressing each beat
With strength and control

Now, if it beats,
It is the hand that permits
Allowing momentary flow
Total control of my being.

With short breaths
I seek to regain control
For naught, the heart is hers
Her hand holds me, yet thrills

I’m fated to love....

Socially Acceptable Demeanor
Don’t you see how much it hurts?
Suppressing a part of me?
So you can be comfortable?

It isn’t like changing shirts,
easy, peasey, one, two, three,
fit into a neat label.

Shall I cut my heart in thirds?
Feed the offensive to birds,
and sooth the rest words?

Can’t you see how much it hurts?
Murdering a part of me?
So you can stay comfortable?...

Water's Edge
Hush
hear the stillness in the waters
the calm and steady to and fro
the ripple-less canvas
that delivers life to our door.

Clear and cavernous
bliss is found in it’s depths
toes dipped in, cooling
in summer’s relentless heat.

Teaming with adventure
dates chronicled in the flow
silence deafening, suppressing
newness found in attention
Hush....

Ironic Mix
# Ironic mix
I’ve come to find
The truth is tart
Creative mind
Demanding heart

Busy brain
Starting fires
Fail to tame
Hotter, higher

Quick to grow
Quick to spread
Look out below
Look up ahead

Focus, focus!
Pay attention
Efforts, hopeless
Back to wishing

A lovely curse
Ugly blessing
Pleasure hurts
Joy suppressing

Ironic mix
In the blender
Fail to fix
Return to sender...

grapes of wrath means to me
wrath caused by drinking wine, too free
wonder what wrath I was suppressing last night,
wrath of a hangover is now my plight,
please, don't shout my wrath is pain,
wishes I had suppressed the wrath of wine.
In future will just sing about wrath and dine.

the form is as follows
I used the word wrath in each line

chose title Grapes of Wrath.

Sordid lunatic relentless beatings, given by his parents, were daily worn!
Suppressing anguish and heartfelt wounds, takes on an evil form!
His heart is scarred, there is terror inside, he must unleash!
It's bottled up, he kills and kills, as childhood rage, is then released!

Unlearning Love
Were you been told about love?
That of kindness and purity?
Or were you a world learner,
Suppressing desires just loving away?

With the errant thought of love,
Giving and freeing feelings,
To erroneous beings of fire;
Love has never found form nor source.

And frequently soul grasps the habit,
Of whispering to the heart what’s love isn’t,
But the mind-body spectrum barely knows;
Confusing each feeling by falling in love....

Dark's Spittle
Creeping crawling and tantalizing
Revamped and vandalizing
It creeps in

Clawing, digging, murderously thieving
Killing as it steals and thrills
It sneaks in

Vanquishing and smothering suppression
Suppressing all, thought of light regressing
It got in

Get it out, spit it back out. YOU DON'T WANT THIS TO GET IN!
Phlegm will choke you, but keep going and free yourself from sin
Dark's spittle can never, EVER..
Ah... here we are again my darling
It can win...

Endless Corridor
It seemed like a
easy task
but now
I am all alone
in a endless corridor
searching for a light
to alleviate me from
the suppressing dark

I notice a gleam in the distance
but whenever I pursue it
A thin wall separates me
then the shimmer vanished from
sight and i remain lost trying
to find my divine path

I can no longer endure
the pressure of this cycle
I cant see the end
If only there was a way
to find my life’s work
without wasting another day...

Desiree
always a doorway
always an option
a multitude in quiet
a bright winged fairy
in gutter-punk drab
suppressing secrets,
hand over mouth
standing in decaying halls,
i wonder if that hand were moved,
what would come tumbling out?
choice words
or silent breath?
half chewed, tooth worn chunks
of some forgotten corpse?
or rain-falls of glitter;
a sandstorm of sparkles
in tiny squares
pervading the air,
suffocating
& inflicting lung-deep paper cuts...

My Destined Starlight
Soul
Breaking
Lies whispered,
Seeking escape,
Soaked in caged deceit;
Mimes mocking withering
Posies, left parched and sundered—
Suspended beneath obscured dusks,
Dripping amidst blinding aftermaths,
Idly shadowed by lewd scars of talons
Amidst alcoves of echoing nocturnes
Unshackled by your sweet afterglow,
Healing me with the elixir
Of our dawning horizons,
Strumming eurythmic tunes,
Suppressing starless
demons, betwixt
Soul-stirring
Destined
Love....
