A Superhuman Race

Not saying this guy believes in UFOs My mind is open, wonder if we'll ever know How else could man achieve Such structures, hard to conceive A mystery I'd say, a superhuman race that rose

Ancient Structures

Structures from antiquity have intrigued me no end How they achieved such feats I can't comprehend Moving mammoth stones Caused grunts and groans Must have taken superhuman strength, perhaps hemp

Popeye and Olive Oyl

Popeye
Eats spinach and feels spry
Gains superhuman strength
Keeps Bluto at arm’s length

Olive Oyl
Is Popeye’s foil
Often kidnapped by Bluto
Whom Popeye then punches to Pluto.

A Poem

Superhuman in his incapacity

Invincible in his ignorance

Unsurpassed in his arrogance

Nonpareil in his stupidity

Superlative in his sleaziness

Ingenious in his idiocy

Indefatigable in his lying

Glorious in his greed

Imperial in his incompetence

Terrific in his tyranny

Incomparable in his corruption

Finally

Finally, love in human guise,
The God-like form and angel eyes,
Unspoken words unto the wise,
A gospel to evangelise.
And in such seeing weaved the spell
Of starry night and wishing well,
Hypnotised into the swell,
Emotion freed, I tripped and fell.
Love perceived as love could be,
A superhuman symphony
To captivate the heart of me,
That you were love, finally.

Old Mirrors.

Through the stagnant waters
Of an old mirror I looked
Darkness quilted with fragments
A face that was once serene.

Within complete immobility of limbs
An urge tried to beckon
From sulphurious waters in yoke
An illumination within soul’s quest.

I know of a wing fluttering
Lost in abyss of mundane denizen
Superhuman effort to break seal
Sheltered by ghosts in the unknown.

Perplexed

For yeeeeeeeears I thought someone was gold
More gold plated as I advanced down road
Then it faded...
The gold plated just became a plate painted gold
Things break and have been broken
Most times glue super or not cannot make it brand new
There are moments that I had to realize
What once seemed superhuman was just reality in disguise
Because superheroes get to be human too.

Why Did You Let Me Go

Why did you let me go my superhuman cutey....?
I'm blind of your intelligence
so why did you let me go...?

I believe that you were my girl
so you had to know that i was your man
and this song, this song is my plan.
I'm hoping that you understand
that i placed my heart in your hands.

As my blood leaked away
your love faded away.
so im force to say
Why did you let me go?
Why did you?

The Field of My Dreams

The park was immense, its lilac-bush-lined fences remote
To blast a home run took a superhuman smote
All alone a-tremble at home plate, so helpless and small
Dared I hope to swing, and not miss the ball...

Decades later, the lilac bushes are grown thicker
The once-cavernous park now shrunken, and quicker
Than my shock at the passing of so many years
The unraveling of stitches from my baseball-sized tears

Not Like My Daddy

Not like my Daddy I think
As he is perfect
Superhuman
With super powers

Mom puts him down and laughs
Trying to make him mortal or worse
This always irritates me
He is my hero

Other men have wives who revere them
Or at least pretend to adore and respect them in pubic
Not like my dad

Luckily, my daddy was a saint
And always said wonderful things about my mother
No matter how sarcastic she was,
Because he was a hero with super powers

Aficionado

Aficionados here and there,
People craft, lead and build.

Those traders are teasers of the wind,
Sail and sail, draft and rate,
Be your own rafter till you lead the machines.

Magician of genius,
Roundtables of roundabouts,
Wheel and chain wheel every unshielded process,

Superhuman intellectuals fragmenting puzzles of equations,

Build this new cybernetics!
Nemesis are the rivals of each creationists.

Mechanics are our homepage.

Soft Brush of Sexy

Paul Newman eyes, superhuman strength, tremble my knees.
Tom Selleck moustache, soft brush of sexy invites my kiss.

My sailor’s shirt tapped me on the shoulder, “If I said
you had a good body, would you hold it against me.”

When my “prince” knelt down to tie my shoe, not glass,
I fell in love, way too fast, before I could breathe.

My negligee, on fire with his wanton eyes, marries me.

No Way

Life has too much to offer
I'm not ready to lay down and die
My cancer will not define me
It won’t limit me in any way
This challenge I will surpass
And rise victorious
Everyday l will accomplish
A superhuman feat
I’ll boldly go
Where no one else has gone
I’ll make a difference
I‘ll push and conquer
Never succumb to defeat
No sir No sir
This cancer
Will not win over me
