Eerie mystery of the night's unknown,
Now shown as strength unites,
Strived against diminished lights,
The cyhyraeth moans their plights.
A man is born when he had held the bull by the horns, faced his fears, strived in the journey through life as he faced his challenges and fears and overcame the challenges and fears. Then he becomes a man because he overcame.
I strolled with God, and
God with me, as
I shrank from booze to clarity, through
Narrow doors, and sculpted lawn, that
Buffered me with accountability -
The hands of God my confidence
No one can stand
Like wall against.

Her blood stained
His heart broken
Her lips kissed
His tears flowed
Her man strong
His muscles weak
Her life fulfilled
His life longing
She grew up
He stayed small
She got married
He stayed home
She had children
He had none
She strived
He died
Life was so hard at fourteen,
I need to work hard while studying,
My dream was to be successful ,
So go on strived to reach for the stars,
Be the one, fly high, you can do it,
Have faith in God, He was there for you,
Poverty is not a hindrance girl.

Lightly touching leaf of a lilac
a ladybug sunned herself delicately
dainty and demure, hurting no one
Yellow lily strived to make herself tempting
Bug gave her a nod, and a wink
Understanding there were more flowers to visit
Gave lilac a healthy good-bye before she shoved off
leader of social justice
change society
gift for rhetoric and oratory
strived for freedom and compassion for all
a name displayed on buildings nationwide
remembered by his famous speech
a life and true potential shortened
about hope for a world
we might live in one day
Roads covered by dark night,
Thou there is plenty of orange light.
Samhain has arrived,
Remplir your bags to strived.
Headstone on the left,
Don’t worry, toffees won’t be theft.
Trick or treat on the right,
Once he was The Knight!

I was a young and strong mother
Never was one to run for cover
Protected the life of my un-born child
Did whatever I had to do to survive
I strived to make it through
Oftentimes feel so bemused and blue
I would always protect my off-spring
Dealing with whatever predicaments life brings
Why is devil so heartless,
That he wrought all virtue valueless.
Why can't he let go of man to his own:
Why did he strived to mount the throne?
I've said 'I'll not do your will":
But you wouldn't stop poking me your meal.
Leave man to his own choice:
Don't get him into immorality by force.

If everything was
to be nothing
Nothing!
Would all your worries
also be nothing?
All some things that
you strived to achieve
would amount to be nothing!
Ha!
I scoff,
for I who had nothing
lost nothing
and you that had something
lost
it
all.
Nothing, wouldn’t that be something?
Opportunity presented itself
I closed my eyes
Learning seemed hard
I closed my eyes
I pushed open a door to my new start
I closed my eyes
Nothing worked out
I closed my eyes
Facing my reality
I closed my eyes
Losing the worth for which I strived
Every waking moment my heart cried
However hard I tried
I couldn't close my eyes.
They glare at me
with piercing eyes.
They talk about me
with nothing but lies.
Why such savagery
while longing for equality?
Why such ferocity
while teaching humanity?
At first, I cried
and did nothing but sigh.
This is the life
I longed for overtime.
And so each day
I tried and strived.
With misjudged essay
I'm glad I survived.
Though you might not call it a success,
I strived to do what I thought best.
Yet, I did not get it right, I guess.
I admit that, and I confess -
what I made was one big mess.
Now that my life is almost through,
and you ask, "What were you trying to do?"
I softly say, "I am one who,
more than anything else, loved you,
and tried, always, to be true."
He's a man of great pride & of humor.
He's been there by far when it drove him.
He's lived life with zest & love and regret.
But he's been there by far when it was over.
He's hoped for the best and lived through the worst.
And strived to do it all over again.
For he said in his way's don't ever have leeway,
For it's gone before the rides even over.
everything I strived for
I lost
everything I loved
I lost
cause she could only take so much
I give up on givin a f**k
because im lost
lord please take my life
its nobodies loss
I used to think she was right
until I learned
everyday we'll fight
so now I move on
to a journey to find ms right
but before then
I don't wanna count
my sleepless nights
I became a rose for winter
Blooming below a midnight sky
All year long my body has strived
Who shall care for me
If I were to die
Curled up
My leaves fold and cower
Embracing the life left within
Feebly I watch the sun
Out it comes
Without reply
I become
A rose for winter
Tread carefully the path
Don't kill a rose
Before it has the grace to die..

A blaze of silver breached the surface,
Muscle flexed, sinew taut.
Through the raging waterfall,
Upwards struggled, strived and fought.
Her mighty tail thrusting, driving
Instinct pushing, nearly spent.
A heroic leap, she jumped again !
Over the waterfall, the salmon went.

While I greedily struggled to satisfy
the insatiable desires of my kind,
I foolishly plundered the joy of my soul,
and ravaged the peace of my mind.
I vainly strived for happiness,
until, happily, I discovered,
the greatest of wealth I can gain for myself
is the joy I receive from giving to others.

The child I could never be- but I was still adored.
The lost milestones will never be restored.
The hope for normalcy will never be revived.
The normalcy that I thought was worth being strived.
Those habits that I used to treasure.
That now haunt me and take away my pleasure.
Those odd ways of mine, are becoming unwoven.
As has my silence, from now on I am brazen!
The saint of Sabarmati
Our great Mahatma Gandhi
Lived a life of simplicity
And marched towards Dandi
For India to attain freedom
He strived day and night
Even attained martyrdom
To keep our future bright
His Quit India movement
And call of ‘Do or Die’
Reminded Indians of their commitment
To the glorious days gone by
The great Mahatma passed away
Holding the entire nation in his sway
She has her eye's wide open,
And her voice you can hear,
Yet her mind and heart she allows no one near,
She doesn't find it easy to let her emotions show,
For disappointment and trust is something she knows,
She feels meaningless and hasn't strived for her best,
And knowing that truth, she can no longer rest,
As far as what's next? It's all up to her,
So we'll just have to wait and see what occurs!
5 billion years have passed
Society is long since gone
The sun is now so vast
The Earth has its final dawn
Life has withered away
Leaving ruins in its wake
Memories fade in decay
A world that we forsake
Far away on another rock
Humans made their home
Still we avert death’s clock
As the universe we roam
We've continued to adapt
And look nothing like before
Our potential was untapped
Until we strived for more
A day in the life,
Thou will have a vibe.
Struggles strived by you,
Would pay off true.
Obstacles you fly;
With you head held high;
Would turn your days blue,
Surely bright view.
Inspired by what’s right,
Aspire you deep sight.
Essence that you hold,
Strengthen thought you told.
Things hurting today,
Would pave a strong way.
See your beauty,
The way you duty.
Views written in silence,
Shine you as world guidance.
A mutual march of transient brotherhood.
The would-be sport of kings and queens.
Violence is thy name, oh crosse, for times test you have withstood.
"weapon of death" and "bringer of life", two roles you gladly play.
From death on the run to sport just for fun,
Through ages you still stay.
Though recognition is never given, you've kept men alive.
Battles o'er both life and goal,
With warrior and player you've strived.
