Endless White, billowed dreams of squatting men,
I stretch out to grasp an insubstantial floating sky,
A fluffy purgatory, a Grayscale cycle revolves again
Forever out of reach, I extend arms, choosing to fly.

If I were nineteen foot tall I would not need a ladder
I could stretch out across the top of my car
And look for a ball under it.
I would never need high heels
And I could pat a giraffe on the head
And gloat because I was taller than him.
S-ound of the waves are
E-ver so soothing
A-s the waves crash upon the
S-eashore taking my stress away
H-ow beautiful is this scenery
O-ver and over I could watch the waves
R-elax and dream the day away
E-ternal visions stretch out before me
Her barely wings stretch out loud
With hopes of landing on a cloud
She eyes a launch her perch so proud
All aeries watch as if a crowd
A sanctuary set so sky
There is no land seen in her eye
Only twigs and leaves are why
She must go now or never try
Form:
Fall, fenced lane, warm sun,
leaves rain except for one.
Gnarly tree stretch out limb
reaching free, soften dim.
Somber swing hangs alone,
wish children bring, grace shown.

Wanting to stretch out my time with you
Each day seems to fly by
Trying to savor every moment with you
"Time is too short", I cry
Living my short, precarious life with you
One day it will be goodbye
Seeing something new each day with you
"Eternal devotion", my sigh
It’s always behind or in front
seems it needs a door to get to
never complains when it rains
pleasantly, pets poop & pee
friends & family cross to hug me
my connect out there
in the back and front
it’s what I have now for all the hard
that stretch out there
the yard
evening colors paint the sky
and paint my world
my arms stretch out, reaching
to paint this darkness
and color this emptiness
so i no longer feel
alone

i am thinking of you, until when.
when. not seeing you.
i stretch out my hands (like a blind man)
stepping on sounds -
pieces of glass underfoot
keeping you pierced in my heels. until
when. i can't hear you.
i soften your steps with my lips
when. i don't touch you.
i don't touch yourtouch.
until
i cry
I hunger for time alone with you
my spirit is thirsting after your love
for I cannot bear
the emptiness much longer
stretch out your hands
and part the sea
let my Egyptians fade away
so I can embrace my Promise Land
flowing with your milk and honey
that restores everlasting peace
love and fulfillment
into my love sick spirit
Blossoms in the trees,
Worried their color too dim,
Stretch out for more light.
Technically not a Haiku due to the personification, though it is in the traditional Haiku 5-7-5 line format. Thanks!
