Hero

My hero’s a man
by a glacier, stark naked,
just meditating!

Kiwi's Wee-Wee

Beholding a stark-naked Kiwi Prince Charles was bewildered: "What see we?” His butler replied, all blushed and wide-eyed: “Your highness, a Maori… wee-wee."

Swimming In Norway

Climate warming is bunkum some say. But I wonder what happened one day, when a stark naked horde swam and splashed in a fjord in mid-winter in balmy Norway.

What Americans Can't See

They’re stark naked from their heads to their toes
Our aspiring emperors wear no clothes
       Why can’t we see that
       They look like two rats
Perhaps we’re too busy holding our nose

The Fish Gets It

What the fish saw
I cannot still unsee
Naked, stark naked
Sitting there was
Uncle sam and
The statue of liberty
Buck naked at
The playboy mansion
So much for old fashioned
I guess this has been going
On for some time
Our leaders our washingtons
Have hardly shaped a
Mountain side

Rose

The prettiest flower in the garden

A magnificent shade of pink

The envy of all the female roses

From the males always a smile and a wink

Her petals were perfection, full and soft as silk

She was without doubt the most beautiful Rose

Until a mighty storm hit one night

Blowing her petals away…..leaving her stark naked and exposed!

Two Rivers

Two Rivers

Stark naked she slowly shrivelled her exposed vacant mind

shed dry viscous tears and filled the empty river in vain

Exhausted petrified her and the stream her inner self

bared to rugged contraction with one final squeeze flooded

the truth that she floated on sediment nevertheless

Copla Treinta Y Uno This Bad Guy World

COPLA TREINTA Y UNO : This Bad Guy World

Is Life then an experiment
At death humans stand stark naked:
Must right be wrong

Can there be greater merriment
Than Fat Cat Wars celebrated:
Image votes strong

No pardon then for confessions
Each his own hidden fears must face:
Right here on Earth

Those who visit Earth in missions
Must laugh at Fat Cats’ kissing grace:
What show of mirth

Sans Passions

After reaching, near-
the crumbling wall, you
enter the moment, for
want of an apology.

The surge walks with
the moon for a-
beheading. I was unaware
of the kindness.

The fierce revenge of the
night. Somewhere there was
an aberration. Two stark naked
kin went down fighting for a fish.

It was homage to the
pain after summary execution.
There was no resistance left
after the merciful end.

Eternal Wait

Fear of becoming sane
inherits the hate of earth.
I wake up in the rains of time.

Fire of soul
extracts the thought shapes
like stark naked truth
in the desert of pain –

unbirthing the child of wisdom.
I hardly think, in my failures.
The house will go up in blaze
by the earthen lamp of fading glory.

There was no light, a quick death
of lips and speech. The human touch-
prints had avenged for words.
Inspiration will wait.

The Wind

The February full moon stirred
A wintery blustering
Wind that roared through the neighborhood
Like an out-of-control freight train.
The stark, naked trees swayed wildly
In a ceremonial dance
While low-growing tree branches touched
Intermittently the ground
In swift, servile genuflections.
Then for an abbreviated
Lull, an eerie silence prevailed
Within this moonlit quietude
Until the winds bellowing voice
Was heard echoing its return.

Affection

when the fear transcends
All over my pine body
I was pulled to there
The fear of blur
Ran over my face
The fulgent face of yours
Stared upon my sullen face
The ocean of affection
Foamed in your eyes
My hair hid inside
The rough green chaperon
My heart sucked
The mermalade of your voice
The touch of yours
On my stark naked shoulders
Relieved me a lot
The warmth of sigh
Supplicates for your presence
The agony had ended
The despair has commenced

Today's Extended Metaphor

The young starlet is sacrificed.
She is stark naked on a 20 foot
crucifix.
Piss streams
run down her thighs
and the wood.
Nails thick as cigarette lighters
are pounded through the bone.
Blood seeps to the surface
and stains her pasty, chalky skin.
Once vital hair
drapes down
over a low head.

Ecstatic apes,
also naked,
ranging in all ages, from the youngest
to the senior,
dance a mad dance in a circle
around the crucified dame
in a ceremony of grounding.

Perversity

PERVERSITY contrarily agreeable sometimes rebellious but never unreasonable that’s me when I want to be free desert island exile scratching my days away on a coconut tree or shell to travel in time and turn water to wine to shoot lasers from sharp eyes then watch the compromise when landscapes are frank and nightfall’s harsh I dive underwater escaping blue stark naked past © Kim van Breda—15 September 2105

A Stark Naked Pause

Listen to poem:
concerned about being upstaged the glorious blue tinted rock negotiated sent in the puffy white wisps to cover the vibrant coloured evergreens the brown field in the foreground felt offended wondering out loud "what about me?" then added "beauty you know is..." but never bothered to finish the cliché. for my part i was more interested in what the mountain had traded the clouds what could it possibly have offered? Trash Day

In the electric room in Melancholia Europe
Alone in the dark an old man sits stark naked
To be born alive this time is what it takes
When reality knocks at a door that is not there

Mushrooms have it spongy easy quiet
Damp soil is all they require
You have no walls, floors or ceilings
When old men are set in their place

Do not be afraid of him in his innocence
Europe is a far away place with trash bags
To take him out in morning
Plenty of space remains for fungal growth
