Notes About The Poem

Listen to poem:

A Stark Naked Pause

concerned about being upstaged the glorious blue tinted rock negotiated sent in the puffy white wisps to cover the vibrant coloured evergreens the brown field in the foreground felt offended wondering out loud "what about me?" then added "beauty you know is..." but never bothered to finish the cliché. for my part i was more interested in what the mountain had traded the clouds what could it possibly have offered? I don't think the mountain could offer the clouds anything. They are shape shifters, they move with the wind, show their anger with a storm, and then emit a rainbow that's stills the breath, as when the sun sets and rises absorbing its colors. I love this poem Armand! A Fave! : )

I really like the way you have opened up your imagination here Maurice, I know the feeling that sometimes we can feel a sentient emenation from the creation around us.'

If I can make one person smile today, it would be you. The reason I don't come around, is because I'm afraid to be my natural self around you. However, right now that special someone inside me is dead, gone, or maybe asleep. That's why I tiptoe around you, because you might wake here .. just saying .. my poetic life misses you....Linda

From the initial offering of lovely imagery, you move on to momentary musing, till you arrive at a superb ending. Excellent, Armand! 777+ Regards // paul
