Rose

The prettiest flower in the garden A magnificent shade of pink The envy of all the female roses From the males always a smile and a wink Her petals were perfection, full and soft as silk She was without doubt the most beautiful Rose Until a mighty storm hit one night Blowing her petals away…..leaving her stark naked and exposed!

Roses were my Dads favourite flower, now I know why ; ) but my Mum was always his beautiful pink rose. Whenever I read a poem about roses it always takes me straight back to him in his garden. Emilia : )

It's rare to see a pink rose. Pity the storm cannot let it survive. Cuddles.

Ohh so sad Deb. Her beauty was stripped away. My wifes favorite color is pink and she has roses in the yard but they are red in color. They are beautiful and fragrant. They are uplifting to look at and to smell. Enjoyed this one Deb shared with my wife Judy.
