Lucky
There once was a cat named Lucky
Thrown from a car that was junky
With a broken jaw
And a broken paw
Now she is pretty much spunky...

Fruit Loops Junkie
I’m a genuine Fruit Loops junkie
The sweet flavor gets me feelin’ spunky
Healthy options are there
I won’t eat them, I swear
I’d rather be a little bit chunky!...

These old feet of mine, such an engineering masterpiece
Bravely holding up this great body of work with little complaint
Down to earth and tired, but sporting spunky red nail polish

Quickie You
You are quick
And so spunky
You are witty
You are a goof-off (everyday)
You are silly and crazy
You are whiny and wary
You are childlike and canny
You are a show-off (in a good way)
You are pretty
And quite tidy
You are slick!...

With humorous mind
Plucks spunky courage
To write poop verses
Poems not abridge

To a complete gaffe
Loves stiff cockie pudding
A gentle soft soul
Nutty and charming

Hello Honey, are you feeling sunny
or another day of crummy?

Are you going to be grumpy
because your a little lumpy?

Your still my little hunky
because your always spunky.

I love you my sweet Honey
because your never a dummy!

For my sweet hubby T Reams...

Grass Flowers Florets
Grass flowers #florets

Glistened with dew
Every time I see I loosen my heart over you
This Spunky lil elf
costless but worthy enough for grass itself
You are the first florets I learnt to draw
No less than daisy to ignore

Hearts they have is shining gold
Petals they hold are pure as peace
Peeping just above the ground
In the Meadows green it’s found...

waves of ash
in agonizing gaps
at the water's edge
They scream wildly

like an anxious sea sprite,
foaming out the,
mysterious misery of mind

On that terrible twilight
the sun suffused irrated streaks

with scorching sympathy

to lift up a dejected sea

I observed
seas of silken saffron swelled in
spunky surges!

Rondure Creeps Revered
eerie contractions etched
fostering fractured fetch
poring punctured pulses
worn winds wield
felon feigns drooped
hoisting hankering drools

bruised barks moaned
heaving sigh sown
by blitzkrieg enthroned

dark diminuendo dribble
cupping callous cripple
nocturnal nature nimble

spunky shaver severed
rondure creeps revered.

Animal Crackers
tap dance temple dancers
tease a mocha monkey
swinging from a tower
munching chips gets chunky

simian sisters see
spunky the funky ape
chewing the ruby red
sweetest juiciest grape

roosters roosting singing
songs to a silent Somme
hens roost on silver silk
poke-a-dot eggs neath mom

charmer the hooded snake
swings around crowds at night
pops from a basket brown
hemp woven strong and tight...

Tom and Jerry

          Tom
A shy, hapless cat, often lazy and calm
Defeated with his own tricks by Jerry
Poor Tom seems more fit as a fairy...

          Jerry
A spunky, sly mouse, alert, never wary
Awaiting his frenemy, Tom, he will scheme
Yet taunting each other makes them the best team!

What a spectacle to watch
professional ventriloquists at play
their dolls cute and adorable
with spunky personalities galore

I just would never dream
of ever being so rude
as to ask them to part
with their amazing secrets

‘Tis a spectacle indeed to watch
professional ventriloquists at play
their dolls ever so adorable
and spunky personalities galore

Warrior Within
Warrior Within

I met childhood cancer face to face.
This disease gives no grace.
Although it tried with all its might,
It could not dim this beauty's light.
God stamped her with a trademark grin,
That draws many in to be her friend.
Spunky, ornery, and oh so very sweet,
To watch her was quite a treat.
Her soul is much wiser then her mine.
Her eyes reassure me everything will be fine.
There's a brave warrior within,
This battle she and God will win.
