U.K. Tom picked a nasty grudge fight
About his much over-lauded Marmite
He got testy and bossy
Toward Deb, the kind Aussie
As he envied her fine Vegemite

For God
I will march into town and spread the news
Pray and speak the truth and give his dues
Blaze a path through the darkened streets
Tell them about all the mighty's worthy feats...

Last eve's sunset wowed
for it held a million hues
as night stood waiting.
Reds and plums, hailed fading blues
Orange and pink spread the news.

I took a photo
of scarlet sun of my heart
in midst of tango.
A prelude to faint starlight-
in time's pretty pause....

Freedom Rises
Freedom rises
Without accords
From our John Hancock’s
Freedom roars
Spread the news
From shore to shore
In an instance
Freedom pours
From words until
All men are created equal
Endowed with inalienable rights
To life liberty and the pursuit of
Happiness
Floods the barren shores...

Sun Starts To Ascend
M-arch twenty-fourth Friday
A-ims to spread the news;
L-et the burning beacon
O-pen your birthday's
U-se.

B-eautiful morning light
E-ndorses a fine weather;
R-ugged wind with chill
I-s beginning to get better.
S-hadows pass you by, dusk comes to an end;
O-ne night has expired, sun starts to ascend....

The Lost
Deep in the earth, the cries are heard,

the echoes of pain, their sorrows blurred.

High in the heavens, the word is there,

he took upon flesh, and came with care.

About the kingdom, to spread the news,

dying for them, he paid all dues.

Bondage was free, the earth was saved,

to be forgiven, trespasses waived....

Gift Given
Flying on a cloud of white
A vision, there beheld
An angel greeting me in song
With love to fill a well

She comes to me to spread the news
That love is permanent
A gift bestowed from God Himself
This message He had sent

Where, through the angel, thoughts expressed
A messenger of love
I saw the gift from God Himself...

The Nights Long Rule
The timeless tension, shores up the marriage.

To work in tandem, like horse and carriage.

For when yin meets yang, there's an endless dance.

A battle of sorts, with a shield and lance.

The nights' long rule, the master of sleep.

Takes flight of desire, before the great leap.

The concept is sound, let us spread the news.

Of a mans' return, wearing godly shoes!...

Listen To Your Mind
Hiding inside
no room to hide
not enough space to move inside

 Stay out there
stay fair
 always beware

You come in here thinking it will solve everything
if you just stay closed up you won't feel any pain

Your wrong you'll die in here
this place is made to operate you out there
you stay in here it will lead to despair

Go out there spread the news
you are to be sharing and bearing win or lose.

Read All About It
I peddled papers that cost just a dime
In my baskets that rode on balloon tires so fine
Made some tips, about four of five bucks
birds spread the news too, so do all the ducks
do you think that they are in the choir
they entertain you for free and not for hire.
going to the ball game cost you a days pay
innings are long, food is bad, so you don’t stay
where can you go and become amused
best things in life are free, and a dime for the news...

Premium Member Ode To a King
The angels praised him,
the heavens rang.
How can I do less?

The shepherds marveled,
and spread the news.
How can I do less?

Wise men brought gifts
worthy of a King.
How can I do less?

My lips will praise him,
my heart will sing.
My soul will worship
my Savior and King.

Every chance, I tell
what he's done for me.
He died in agony,
hanging on that tree.

Celebrating his birth,
I give him my all.
How can I do less
when my Savior calls?...

(A Salute to John Updike)

Twelve months we wait
to spread the news
of wonder our world
each year renews.

“The shepherds wait
the kings, the tree
all wait for something
yet to be.”

And in the night
a bright new spark
to light the way
through dark and dark.

This bright eastern star
glowed once before
to affirm good news
which the angels bore.

And now, through the earth,
sweet notes again flow
hailing heaven’s great joy
two-thousand Decembers ago....

Come Let's Praise the Lord
Come lets praise the Lord
Come lets praise the Lord
Come lets praise the Lord
Come lets praise the Lord
He is Jehovah
Tell the world of His faithfulness
He is El-Shaddai
Tell the world of His salvation
Spread the news around
Tell the world of his praise
Come lets praise the Lord
Praise the Lord
Forever and ever He is the same
He'll never Change
From eternity to eternity
He'll be my God
Praise Him!!
Jehovah
Praise Him!!

Praise Him!!

Its now to question
It's now to dicuss
It's now deny
Any hold over us
By the spawn of
The unconscionable
The dregs of the dregs
The descendants of
Misfits septic as pus
Unacceptable beings
Being devoid of true
Soul, lovers of gloom
Who live as in holes
Like spiders in Webs
They only can kill
If their dens are not
Cleaned out; nows
No time to be still
It's time to be active
Spread the news all
Around , their agendas
Have lost it, Humanity
Is taking back ground.'...

Blocking calls Written: by Miracle Man 8/6/2019 I have personal thoughts I oft share each day, From these, deep discussions, often come into play. These give off good vibes, causing me to feel strong, And differing opinions makes neither one wrong. But there’s a man on our town I call the town crier, He proliferates gossip when calling to inquire. He feels its imperative that he spread all news, Which necessitates always doing a mental peruse. (If I pick up)

A Robin
Yesterday I saw a Robin
That harbinger of Spring
After eating his fill at my feeder
He swiftly took wing

I'd like to know where he came from
I'd like to know where he's going
I hope he is heading South
Away from where it's snowing

He was such a pretty bird
I'd like for him to stay
But I know he has to spread the news
That Spring is on the way

So hurry Mr. Red Breast
Spead the happy word
After such a long winter
It's the best news I have heard

You Gotta Love Those Robins!...
