viewed by astronauts,
Earth is a massive blue sphere
stand outside at night, look up
see a universe
filled with sprawling galaxies
we’re but specks of creation
Before Rene Descartes does this world depart
he gives analytic geometry its big head start
from bugs that draw graphs crawling on his ceiling;
as he lies sprawling, sick in bed, reeling.
The destination I envision,
A stone house on open land,
Sprawling land for all to explore,
A garden of vegetables,
Orchards as well,
I can pray,
For my plan to lead down,
The settling dreams.

Astral
Moonlit night
Sprawling ahead
In pin-drop silence
With a lustrous ether
Sparkling with shine of stars,
Patted by whispers of the breeze
In an invite to scan the sublime
And a lure to link up with the divine.
Heel, breaking the plane;
Subtle distance unexpected -
Body charged numb
With fear of death,
Or perhaps the fear
Of not quite dying.
Clutching at items,
Clutching at nothing.
As your fists curl in
A whoop of breath
Escapes,
Sprawling,
Fallen,
Or saved
From a lower stair’s perspective.
Influencers, passing fancies of the moment
to end up on the sprawling pile of disappointents
along with Cabbage Patch, Pet Rock, and Ninja...
Though I can at least relate to the three above
whereas Influencers despair of Love ~
their insides empty of any
Truth, out it's shoved

Downy white snow falls,
Embracing trees bony boughs,
Calm, sequestered birds,
Purring, preening feral cats,
A sprawling landscape, serene.
Rays of early morn
petals sprawling on the lawn
dewdrops shimmer in the sun
like pearl shells clinging
light the breeze trilling
as sunset comes to enthrall.
Peach the fruit in arms
sheer, round, and full of charms
bouncing along the stem of tree
juicy as one summer clad
sweet time for moments that add
the blessings skies share each day.
And the praying mantis is baying
for an excursion to sunnier chimes
The Sun goes down

True feelings concealed craftily
beneath the saccharine sheathe,
toxic fantasy of self items fostered
by the colors of chameleon skin.
Sprawling spurious emotions,
pretentiously paraded skillfully,
away from the edge of reason,
epitomize the camouflaged ego.
