A spoonful of snow dropped down one's front or back,
Would make one jump, naughty!
Not funny, but lucky, it could have been a snowball.
Sophistication should always include a spoonful of spotless spontaneity
Shamus shivered, silently seconding Sheila’s sassy sage suggestion.
Spoonful of goodwill
Few drops of smiles, hugs, and love
Jubilant day laughs!

In ripe mango golden pulp
Pour cream half-a-cup
Mix a few shredded mint leaves
Add spoonful honey
Blend with ice, I make
Summer drink
Grand.
strawberry ice cream
on this hot June afternoon
melting on my tongue . . .
from the dish up to my lips
I bring each spoonful of bliss

On a hunting trip Yosemite Sam
shot up a loose can of spam
didn't taste like his usual venison
so took for precaution a spoonful of medicine

On Thanksgiving I ate hardly anything
Some sliced turkey and a spoonful of nothing
My appetite was killed
When my dear wife had spilled
All the gravy for the turkey and stuffing
How much is a batch, it really depends on
Who's measuring it, if it's my dear son
Four spoons of sugar will do
A spoonful is about two
Love how he cooks, it aids my digestion
Garlic by the spoonful
each and everyday.
Garlic by the spoonful
by you the others won't play.
Garlic by the spoonful
is heart healthy indeed.
Garlic by the spoonful
is exactly what I need.
Jean Neuhaus had an apothecary store in Brussels.
He started covering medicines with chocolate, to make it more palatable.
His grandson replaced the medicine with praline.
“a spoonful of sugar”
A spoonful of sugar makes your calories go up
You just really need to forget how damn much
Forget your waistline
You're lookin' just fine
An extra fifty pounds is just a wee touch
A spoonful of sugar makes your calories go up
You just really need to forget how damn much
Forget your waistline
You're lookin' just fine
An extra fifty pounds is just a wee bunch
A
handful
meets our need-
just a little
digested daily, bread on which to feed
a
spoonful
fills our heart,
saturates us
from top to toe,so helping love to flow
Inspired by Elijah's story @! K 17:1-6
If you're harried, befuddled and flustered.
And your life tastes of pepper and mustard.
Don't abandon the field,
and remain even-keeled.
You will soon get a spoonful of custard.
I’ve never really needed ice cream,
just the mention and other’s eyes beam!
Ate a spoonful with such ease,
then my eyes bugged from brain freeze!
I’d rather sit back and watch y’all scream!

I once met a girl from Niagara
who made a great pate de foi gras
with fatty goose liver
and truffles, a sliver;
and a whole spoonful of Viagara.
Entered in David Williams' contest,
'My Favorite Dish' for February 12, 2012.
A spoonful of substance—
that’s all I’m looking for.
Stir it in while it’s hot.
Let it dissolve and
rest until it’s tepid.
Saccharine black?
Drink up. Dry.
Granules cluster the bottom of the mug
and bitterness lingers on my tongue.
I’ve fooled myself again.
One cup of kindness,
A spoonful of love,
Happiness, peace and cheerfulness,
And all the above.
Sparkles of magic,
Lots of group hugs,
Make things better and nothing tragic.
Mix these together,
Let the world be a kinder place,
Peace and love forever.
Maybe I write
to purge myself of feelings;
failure regret
disappointments that made me
this harsh desert.
So maybe each
word a band-aid
healing my soul
turning desert to garden.
Each line a spoonful of soil,
each verse a seed,
each poem flowers.
How long until my garden blooms?
"Lemon Drops"
a spoonful of sugar
makes it
all go down
lemon drops
medicine; monks -
zero ground

Form:
Take a pinch of honesty,
a little of truthfulness,
a spoonful of sincerity,
a bowl of hard work,
and a jar of liquid pleasant nature,
mix them all together,
till they gel,
really well,
then marinate me in it,
till I get soaked,
to my each croaking pore,
when done,
draw me out,
dry me,
and leave me free.
In ripe mango golden pulp
Pour cream half-a-cup
Mix a few shredded mint leaves
Spoonful honey drips
Blend, add ice, I make
Summer drink
Swell.

She knows the art
when I am troubled
and life is biting me
she comes galloping
with spoonful of smiles
to smear in my heart
Lucky my being is
fortunate my soul is
the face that smiles
the hand that holds
is everything I need
when life is hot red
She knows how to do it
pearl of my heart knows
secrets to refill my joy × 2
She washes her face with her tears
Hiding behind a veil of fears
Upon her sleeve sits her heart
Making it easily torn apart
Swallowing a spoonful of regret
Leaving her desperate for whatever she can get
Sadly she wears a crown of shame
Filling her pockets full of blame
She washes away all these things
Only to find she has wings
