It’s always,
“to benefit the American people,”
Spewed at the lowly,
from congressional steeple.
A favorite line,
that politicians oft use.
They speak the right things
but neglect and abuse.
Its splendour of descending
A sky window's
Crazy glassed view
Bettered, and for what's but felt
Hearts, cool blown through.
Day of its fire is ending!
More sun's, spewed forth
For wrath, more vile!
Each street, so worked up, west-faced
Refreshed does smile.
Hurl the applecart
of crimson corruption
deep into a vortex
that whirs remorseless
and grinds to carbon
the bellowing chaos

How oft, toward others,
have snarky words been deployed.
Unleashed without thought,
and valued friendships destroyed.
Once words were dispensed,
we felt remorseful and retreating.
We then spewed “I’m Sorry,”
but forgiveness was often fleeting.
