Exam Hall

Exam hall -
Silence reigns,
Minutes crawl,
Boredom drains,

Pens fly,
Legs ache,
Kids sly,
No break,

Nails chewed,
Heads scratched,
Answers spewed,
Or hatched.

Collect sheets,
Time is up,
Test completes,
Let's wind up.

Jo, are you a teacher? Or maybe just a great memory of your student days. You sure got a lot of details that took me back a few years (shudder, haha!) I love how you did all this with 2-3 syllables per line and rhymed, no less! Great write, much enjoyed!
