He sought revenge through fire

as I walked out, a snake slithered in
dark with a white stripe and quite thin
neither of my dogs noticed this
snake was silent, I heard no hiss
I gave an involuntary scream
this was reality, no kind of dream
today I am avoiding my studio
where that snake slithered oh so low
Rain,
came as a train,
it hit the brain,
made it go dizzy,
in swell refrain,
I forgot my pains,
as drops slithered down my window panes,
loved it pouring,
my spirits went soaring,
do you care,
about rains,
I do,
very intensely,
and real heartily,
as it keeps pouring merrily.
In the musk of her
thigh shaped valley
of alabaster glaze
lift my head for perfume
unbottleable
her fingers wrapped in my tangle
hold me where you want
Drinking as the desert
gulps the drop
slithered heat
that comes from deep
as light splinters
in your course
and tremors touch my lips
ruby the ram
met larry the lamb
to frolic in the fields
as they would hop
they came to a stop
because they met some eels
they slithered and scurried
and the two friends hurried
because they didn't want to get shocked
they pounced and ran
screamed as fast as they can
and all of the eels flocked

On an expedition they did embark
Finding the passage to the sea.
Down the Missouri they traveled,
Then slithered 'round the Snake River bend.
Rocky Mountain weather and sickness battled;
At the Columbia River they'd end.

green snake poked his head out of the bathtub drain
singing Christmas carols off key, singing a loud refrain
i saw a turtle when Cobra slithered down and away
bear stuck his paw through at the end of the day
i am in no hurry to take a warm relaxing bath now
imagining seeing an inverted muddy hoof of dairy cow
Whispering autumn zephyr
slithered thru’ sagacious canopy,
foliage eloquent in vibrant ecstasy,
on trail of the trees’ shadow I walked.
Frenzied summer dust storm
blew away murmur of falling leaves,
wandering aimless in mute wasteland
I wonder where the speaking trees have gone.

I had never been camping in the wild before,
For my husband, a holiday he always did adore,
Wanted to take his wife to explore,
Brushed campside, clean as a kitchen floor,
Visited throne, snake slithered close, camping no more!

I hope god spares me
My own misery is enough pain
Family doesn't need to be standing
In the atom bomb rain
The world doesn't need another hole
And neither does my brain..
Faded.. But still of a nice shade
If water splashes on my figure
Ill probably fade away
But ill say its a good day
Slithered down
On the grass in my shape
