what a scary experience - maybe the snake was attracted to the snake sandals I was wearing! Hugs Jennifer. I know the feeling when things pile up - blessings.

Snakes love toilets. I have discovered this the hard way out in my office, where we have caught two next to a toilet!

The scariest day of my life, but I didn't even have time to scream as it slithered over my foot so fast and I only saw half of it disappearing under the thatch. Thanks for commenting Caren, Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

Jenn, I love great lims and this is a great one! What a brash & sneaky snake - trying to interfere with your honeymoon! Glad you enjoyed Pa Goose's silly nursery rhymes. Best to you but watch out for the snakes! - Bob

I loved you Pa Goose's nursery rhymes - you should print a book of them - it was a brash snake and it wasn't as If I interrupted him, he interrupted me. Thanks for a fun comment - hugs and blessings, Jenn.

Far too close, it actually slithered over my foot, but I didn't look because I was almost sure it was a big spider or a snake and only saw the tail end of the snake disappearing, then I screamed! Thank-you for a lovely comment Joseph, Hugs, Jennifer.

I prefer an indoor camping site. One that's "snake" proof . Good limerick. I wish you the best of luck in the contest:-) Alexis

Hi Alexis, needless to say after this experience I was very loathe to go on any other camping holiday, - I eventually agreed to one more, but this one was hilarious - my next poem! 'Snake proof' is good, no more adventures for me! Thank-you for your wishes Alexis. Hugs and blessings Jennifer.

G'day Jennifer … always chuckle with a snake story. In Queensland, so many pythons are found in toilet bowls and that causes a stir looking down in the bowl - thanks Jennifer - Lindsay

This one, a poisonous snake slithered over my foot, i was pretty helpless at the time so held my scream until it disappeared because the floor was at least one foot below the thatch around the ablutions. Quite scary. Hugs Jennifer. A python in the toilet bowl would be quite a thing also! Hugs, Jennifer.

It slithered over my foot John, Hubby had to take me to a hotel, I got the fright of my life! And when my husband set up camp it was like a five star hotel, but a bad experience, is a damper! Had to laugh at your comment - passion was continued in the hotel! Hugs, Jennifer.

Don't fancy much the camping business unless it's in my back yard... But I see you have some more to explore...

Hi ^WW^ - Las Vegas might have been a better option - sitting on the throne, whilst a snake slithered over my foot was no picnic! Thanks for the laugh my friend , loved your comment. Hugs, Jenn.

Not really, my husband always relates this story by starting, My wife, the camper! I love nature but have a fear of snakes, the snake sensed it I'm sure, and sought me out, but I was doing no harm to it or it to me, but it was enough for me to stop camping, although, we did have one more hilarious exp, which I'll write about some other time. Thanks for your comment Vijay, yes nature has got surprises and some are not nice! Hugs and blessings Jennifer.

The snake actually slid over my foot but i kept dead still. The ablutions were very quaint and very clean, but no ceiling just the bright blue sky and the sides were about a foot off the grass, so the snake casually slithered in whilst i was on the throne over my foot and when it was gone I screamed! Quite something, needless to say we left that day, for I wasn't going to go to the same ablutions again! Hugs, Jennifer.
