someone call
a medic
popeye
slipped in the
tub
The razor;
It slipped
Leading to
Unexpected consequences.
The redness
Splashed and spread,
Splashed and spread.
Pride
Turned down
Wondering where
Things may have slipped
Looking out
For the icy covenant beneath my feet
I breathe.
Pride
Turned down
Wondering where
Things may have slipped
Looking out
For the icy covenant beneath my feet
I breathe
Slipped on something
A new habit
Bad for my health
Ate away at my soul
Cramped my mind with thoughts
That habit

The Silent One had much to say
But saved it for a rainy day
COVID-19
Slipped in between
Like the plot of a Shakespeare play
Dead Heat
Fell through cracks pink slipped
His mirth sending her sweet home
Aglow in dead heat
connie pachecho
9/5/17
rushed to jump out of bed
slipped and fell - woke up dead

Embracing my illusion,
reality slipped away
as truth returned uncensored
—all memory out to play

A birder in search of a bird
Just slipped on a buffalo turd
Sharp as a tack
Flat on his back
He learned not to follow the herd!
Its like Karen Carpenter knew
How I long to be close to you
But COVID-19
Has slipped in between
Naught to do but colour me blue!
Wanda Hardman sang a sad song
How a softie had done her wrong
But Lady Luck
Slipped her a buck
And now she's wed to Don Key-Long
A

Angel slipped
Out Heaven’s gate
To perform for me
Celestial songs
Rang out for
Countless
Days.
Everyone Called Him Old Man Moe,
Living Free Like A Hobo.
He Once Hopped A Train
In The Driving Rain
But, Slipped And Lost His Big Toe.
I slipped a strawberry tea
under plain bags of pekoe tea
so handsome chance might choose a someone,
and I, the flavor of their confusion.
Dan, Dan, was a popular man
had a plaid for his homeland clan
his kilt it slipped
cold breeze it nipped
less popular now than he began
I climbed a moonlit bubble to touch the midnight sky
slipped into tie dyed memories of carefree days gone by.

I think I suffered an accidental,
maybe physical, maybe mental.
Was there something that I missed?
Perhaps, my brain has slipped a disc.
hermit's shell
feeling way too tight of fit
had to go
off it slipped
as naked crab stole a conch
clad in nacre pearl
Used to be there
But let go
Slipped out of my grip
But I wasn’t holding on
Tight enough
No white knuckles
Didn’t care
And I still don’t

So it seems
The path laid out
Was made for me
And I slipped right in
And it’s a time for change
Sober is better
No matter how it seems
A peanut farmer named Futz
Slipped and fell and crushed his nuts
Two nuts in a shell
Went crunch when he fell
Without nuts he’s just a putz
The sea was unusually wavy,
When a cook in the Royal Navy,
With a roll of the ship,
Accidentally slipped,
Inundating his captain with gravy.
eternal love burns
its essence powerful, bright
refreshing nectar
tender kiss on my soul
angels sing melody of love
night slipped to dawn
Skippity doo, skippidy dat,
I jumped over my pussycat,
Doing it just once more
I slipped upon the polished floor,
Now pussy looks quite flat.
