Beneath

Pride
Turned down
Wondering where
Things may have slipped
Looking out
For the icy covenant beneath my feet
I breathe.

If we lose our pride, we've lost nothing....as pride is merely a facade, wanting to prove one's self to those who stupidly won't acknowledge our worth---or their own. You may lose your pride, but never lose your worth. They're so separate. I see in you someone trying to find a light, a specific answer to answer it all, but....do you know you have that light in you already? You're worth so much, even in this nameless world we are a part of. Best wishes, Sara:)
