Blue Ribbon Moment Monoku
school rule...don't slide down banisters...rule ignored...caught by principal's arms
9-2-20
The click-clack of reindeer hooves on the roof;
A tight slide down the chimney;
Santa’s delivery.
I can't hide my emotions
tears slide down my face
drop in my lap like blood.

The girl in the red barrette
Silently walking downtown
Lifting her hair over top
To watch it slide down

Like sheep on a steep rocky slope,
We need to have guidance to cope.
We might fall and slide down
To the sea and all drown.
Heed the Shepherd. He’s our only hope.
I tend not to play a losing game and
it made me win
and walls high I didn't slide down
was enough
Painted an answer so turbulent
to provocative questions too
Your face a memory of my past,
I see it in the mirror,
my reflection taunting me.
Stolen.....taken.
Tracks of sorrow
slide down my face,
wishing I could have you back.
Venom dripping from thoughtless words
all thoughts gone but "This is absurd"
watching dribbles of rain
slide down old window panes
with a turn, theres nothing to be heard
I make profit
I cause loss
I shoot up
I slide down
I change
I remain the same
I get applauses
I get screamed at
I am owned
I am released
Invest in me
I am a stock market
her eyes show tears,
her body shows her fears.
ther tears slide down,
while her body quivers.
shes all alone in this world,
and she doesnt know why.
all she wants to do is sit in her room and cry.
Use Fans and Enjoy Tans
To overcome heat we should use fans;
Marble has collapsed in hole use spans;
Shells in my canister;
Slide down bannister;
Have exact amount of sun for my tan.

creepy little rodents
make my day go by.
Eating up my confidence,
making sure it dies.
Holding in the hate,
knowing it will pass.
Fighting back the tears,
that rapidly slide down my cheeks!

In Japan, believe it or not, there's a Poop Museum!
Kids slide down into a gigantic toilet, oh what freedom
Since I was a kid
A dream which I hid
To jump with two sisters in our toilet as a threesome
Oh we like to slide down the moon,
While sucking helium from balloons.
Oh I wish i had a helicopter hat,
So i could party like a cat,
And go to mars,
To see the shooting stars.
Wow, that would be a party
And we would party hardy
I chug upward
as the air
thins, the sky
blues the stars.
Then it, at the peak,
stops. Music
is not like life.
Envisioning the rhythm of time,
when the now point arrives
there is no view.
I have to tumble
slide down
letting out
the melody
of my breath.
Brow furrows.
Hand shakes.
Stay inside,
a strict voice says.
No breaks allowed.
Yet uncalled
they slip slide down
unbidden,
creep out the corners,
wet the lash,
drip the cheek.
Oh dear dear
Another soul leak,
My eyes betraying me
again.
Someone asked me to write this for
them to send to children with
disabilities.
Hit Sack and Will Be Back
Santa headed home and hit the sack,
And next year same time will be back;
Always cared;
Gifts shared,
After he slide down the chimney stack.

I still remember
slide down a polished railings
Autumn holidays
Sleeping until noon
Dance happily in the wind
No homework this week

A ripple in time
Obsessed with love
We didn't see the moon slide down
Like an emerald button over the window
Shining through our tangled legs
The night didn't move
Nailed with golden stars
A strange song drifted over the pine trees
At the mountain that night
Do you remember?
dry thirsty valleys
sheltered by high dreams around
~empty rivers through~
grey sorrows slide down
the big warm naked mountains
~stormy above us~
hopes paint a rainbow
~pouring raindrops from heaven~
quenched mouths for a while
Slide down the slide
Next let’s
Ride on the merry go round
Wind blows
Tears burns my eyes...
In the sand box.
Seesaw's up,
My sides down.
I carry the weight.
You’re up
I jump off,
You’ll fall
To the ground
Bang.!
Crying and snot
I let you fall
Why, because
I love you a lot!
The Scyamore's leaves have yellowed
Defining it's bark that peels white
It is tall, straight and stately
A vision of pure delight
It reminds me of Zackeus
Who rested upon its stately limb
To get a glimpse of Jesus
Then slide down to get close to him
Just for fun

"About This Poem"
puppy dog mushroom eyes
sniffing green grasses
royalty prancing in my purple ears
slide down my face, I invite you
relish your participation
leave a few cracks
streaks for others to follow
be playful and whimsical
invite your friends
light blue butterflies have discovered me
more later
Today I know her heart breeds evil
observe how her garments slide down her shoulder
exposing freckled yet immaculate pallid skin
oh, the power of the flesh!
the desire of touch!
my jealousy of the other men she is flirting with!
I am at her mercy, the one quality she lacks
and she knows it and enjoys it!
`
Watching her board bathed in fog at the station
Spectacles slide down the bridge of his nose
Usually a blur, not in this situation
Smudges can’t hide every beauty she shows
