dry thirsty valleys 
sheltered by high dreams around 
~empty rivers through~

grey sorrows slide down
the big warm naked mountains
~stormy above us~

 hopes paint a rainbow  
~pouring raindrops from heaven~

Hello Maria, I did not know that spain was suffering from droughts. We did not have much snow during the winter. our Christmas Day was a green one. climate change is happening everywhere. Enjoy your Monday evening. Hugs. /Darlene/

Hello my dear friend. Thank you for your visit. Yes, you are right that rain has to come sooner or later, but this is not Canada. Spain is suffering every year more and more droughts. The climate here changed very drastically. And we are lucky that we are facing the Atlantic, just looking at Canada...hehe. It's not so dry here, thanks to God. But even like that it's worsenen from since I was a child. Well, dear Darlene, have a lovely Monday! Hugs/María

You paint a beautiful picture. Pity though it's dry summer. Here in Malta, we must have air conditioners. I suppose it's the same in Spain. Lovely haikus.
