nature's backwoods,
over frozen lakefronts,
among quiet darken patches,
snowfalls

Pile up snow, yes, pile up deep,
pile up snow on hills real steep,
pile up snow, I want three feet,
pile up snow, fresh powder is sweet.
summer
humid, hot
swimming, camping, gardening
seashore, breeze, mountains, sleet
skiing, cuddling, baking
gelid, cold

What Marcia can do with great ease
is travel forever on skis.
She skis between trees.
For her it’s a breeze.
Hey, look at her go, holy Gees!

Summer
Sunny, warm
Strolling, sunbathing, swimming
Ocean, breeze, wind, snow
Hiking, sledging, skiing
Bitter, cold
Winter
There once was a Norse goddess named Skadi
A Winter Ruler in huntress’ body
An expert at skiing
Her enemies fleeing
Ester Ledecka she did embody
California
Sunny, warm
Swimming, boating, sunning
Sky, airplane, ocean, seashells
Skiing, sledding, snowball throwing
Cold, blistery
New York City
Skiing
Sing along the snow
Kindly with my skis
Ice in the roads
Icing on the roads is whiter
Not a single is colored
Gone are the days of summers
Western breezes blowing in,
bringing snow to the peaks again,
now it’s cold enough to stay,
tomorrow is a powder day.
And I don’t work on powder days…
Vacation
Beach. Jet skis.
Playing. Swimming. Skiing.
Relaxed, restful, stressful, tense.
Working, bill-paying, boring
Time-stealing, unfulfilling
Work
Since the worn out
knee should be replaced,
I have no doubt,
in fact, I’ve squarely faced:
not a snowball’s chance in hell
going skiing would go too well.
skiing along the bardo that blurs boundaries
between spontaneity and free will
as choiceless choice dances
who remains the witness
save I Am presence
which I Am
He was jet skiing over a wake
But he only made one big mistake
He shouted out so pleased
Then he suddenly sneezed
And blew both his false teeth in the lake
The Dachshund’s a marvel on skis
Little legs that stop short of its knees
It can schuss like a pro
Making furrows in snow
(Though its privates are given to freeze)
Slipping, sliding,
Kicking, gliding -
Iffy my technique.
It's a snowy week.
Never skied before -
Got to do this more...!
written 21st January for Julia's Skiing contest
Presence balanced, skiing the bardo, dissolves
flow of time, whence poised in peace, rapture rises,
brought forth by bliss magnetism’s soundless thunder …
centred everywhere.
An Old Haunt in Vermont
She has been living in an old haunt;
Great artist who is my favorite aunt;
And we knew,
Beautiful view;
While having fun skiing in Vermont.

Seas swift with the speedy dunes of their aqua
To teach the clouds to swim faster in the sky!
The moon does skiing towards the west
To bring the delight of dawn from the dusk of stars!
Knocking down trees with your face
Describes skiing so I play Checkers in place
Coz the worst that can happen
Your opponent gets mad and
Pulls out a gun and you are erased
skiing in the snow,
around trees, steep slopes and plains,
my deep-seated desire.

Succulent isis crunches maze;
Autumn's gone winter's here blizzard season;
Skiing shed craze;
Can't swim in the frozen lake, no reason?

Skiing.
Thats what you do,
Down my viens and
Through my heart.
Your skiing.
Dodging my questions
Colliding with mysery.
You must be.
Are you racing my blood?
Daring my pacience?
Dangerous sport.
