My brain chain-smokes your name, lingering like Autumn's song.

Target
Tested,
hunted,
singled,
chased,
cornered,
lashed,
to fatality,
he wanted to be away,
but they got their way,
and pulled out life's last ray....

You
The stress no one feels
All except you
The pain no one felt
Singled you out too

The feelings you felt
But kept to yourself
Will eat at you
Till there's nothing left...

But Spoken Once
The delivery,
  incidental to the message

The format,
  duly chosen for the sound

The listener,
  singled out with times forgiveness

The truth
—but spoken once to then abound

Orange Head Was Singled Horn Limerick
Orange Head Was Singled Horn Limerick

Out of large crowd orange head was singled
Because there is where he likes to mingle
Telling lies every time seen
Would he tell it to a Marine?
No wonder Trump's face is old and wrinkled.

absolute insight,
           so rare
brings mistrust,
creates anxiety,
perhaps:
but often
   is influence,
encourages
         empathy
facilitates
        interest...
yet is singled out
not admired...but
feared..
..seen as bizarre...

I Am Nothing
I am nothing but a plain pen in the hands of the Great King
A simple sparrow, singled out solely to solemnly sing...
from the rising of the rainbow, to the release of the rainfall ring;
from the setting of the sun and the springing of seeds in Spring...

Singled Out
Suicidal
with this gin
in hand.

He's repeating history
when his denials
another grim demand.

Who knew silence could be so loud?

He wonders why their here at the end,
but when needed the most,
he couldn't find a single friend.

Singled out.
Across the crowd....

Friends
Making friends,
Losing them.
The pain when it ends,
Bruises come.
Making more friends,
Friends start to change,
Being singled out,
Put in a shooting range.
Shot in the chest,
Dying cause I'm hated,
I was never the best,
My life has faded.
For me its tough
To Make a friend,
And I've had enough.
Cause I lose in the end....

Never Told My Lives Matter
i never felt alike the rest
always like i was less
everyday of life a test
never able to address

always was the one in trouble
singled out and made example
often would it burst my bubble
punishments i felt were ample

isolation in my mission
so my mood stamped down flatter
still i face this repetition
never told that white lives matter...

Leprosy
Leprosy

Foolhardy blight that languishes in a musosal drop
Transmitted to the genetically predisposed
That causes dermal cells to mutate
With its tubercle relative to sympathize
Slow surface lesions manifest
And the host begins to realize
Its ancient punishment from the gods
Singled out to be excluded
In colonies for those alike
As microbacterium leprae proceeds to colonize...

Anxiety creeping like flooding water
Soaking into every crack and pore
Washing away the hope you may desire
Leaving you searching for a shore

leashing, grasping and ripping the chest wide
wounds forced with further embarrassment
guaranteed failure surrounds my day
therapy - still I feel singled out

Mythomaniac
The words stumble from her lying
Mouth while her obtuse mind struggles
For likely continuity.
In due course the lie emerges
Full-blown, ready for deceiving
An innocent, unsuspecting
Host singled-out as the target.
This pathological liar
Fabricates the fundamentals
In a way that’s favorable
To her in case she is challenged.
There is no motive to look for
Because there really isn’t one.
She must lie and she’s good at it....
