Paul Frederick Simon
who is nicknamed rhymin’
for a while on Art Garfunkel was reliant
and gave us The Sounds of Silence
Define love
Words fail us
We dissolve
What is God
Love and light
Say no more
To ascend
Slow down thought
Gentle touch
Leonard Simon Nimoy
the Enterprise did employ
he logically was very proper
and was able to live long and prosper
Hard turning in either direction will
Bring you to the same conclusion.'
If you think on this? You might solve
The current double illusion !
Good old Simon’s got quite a name
Face’s fame fits our bright gold frame
Nonetheless, the old dusty mouth
Either’d be wiped or would go south.
Simon Cowell
From negative thoughts he draws well
His horrible remarks can cut deep
Sometimes though teardrops seep
SIMPLE SIMON SAID TO THE PIE MAN
HOW MUCH FOR A PIECE OF YOUR WIFE'S PIE
THEN THE PIEMAN, QUICK AS AN EYE MAN
PUNCHED SIMPLE SIMON RIGHT IN THE EYE
I’ve heard that Simon says a lot;
Be it IBM’s or the Bible’s rock;
Which one is it? I know not;
He bridged troubled waters;
But simple pie man he is not;
keep it short
to the point
else I’m lost
I’m nervous
breathe easy
take it slow
reclaim now
love and light
by God’s grace

Talents-host and judge Simon Cowell,
Whose leadership crests with flying laurel;
Once, so impressed with the show,
Broke the AGT’s buzzer with his hardest blow.
Simon Cowell is not nice,
thinks that a black t-shirt will suffice.
He can be rude, mean and quite sarcastic,
and gosh, his face changes look like plastic !
simple shift
desires sift
soul uplift
make thoughts slow
fears let go
feel love’s glow
heart’s delight
love and light
day and night

Paul Simon was an island
with his books and his poetry
to protect him...
In his twenties, Simon couldn't see
~ Poets, too, crave camaraderie
let’s keep it simple
distil each desire with love
tranquil silence reigns
in but not within the world
feeling bliss rapture unfurled

Simon Le Bon English singer who rocked the eighties
Three Ivor Novello Awards British Academy, maties
Duran Duran's lead singer and lyricist
Flair for poetry my favorite empiricist
And you are? What are you here for?
So do you think you can impress us four?
What will you sing again?
Well good luck then
Followed by the “Golden Buzzer” then tears galore!
I pity you Simon,
You don't know what it takes,
But dropping yourself,
You are raising the stakes,
Your choices are careless,
Your mind has resigned,
You left without Violet,
You left her behind
So Spake Simple Simon
a request without a method to pay
He was willing to go into debt
to eat well that day
Simon was simple,
yet Simon was kind
He didn't sit and wimper,
he kept trying a way to find
Carly Simon, songstress, big hair, and a huge smile
Cheshire cat teeth you can see across the Nile
You’re So Vain just might be about Mick Jagger
Love her Itsy-Bitsy Spider and all of her swagger
Here lies old Simon Le Gree
A stingier man there will never be
Held onto his last nickel until he died
Stole a fortune from his latest bride
Now here they lie—side by side

The pieman only simply turned, that
One pie be not
burned.' Simon simply overcome' with
empty gut, and tingling tongue..
Grabbed a deep dish, short crust one.'
Spake I need energy, i'm on a fun run
can I
Owe you for simply, this one?
fontanel invites, grace in-pours
crown, oh hermit, the secret door
worldly wise souls, haven’t a clue
simple Simon alone gets through
imbibing boundless bliss galore

the world is vast and we are small
but if we choose we can expand
birthing a magnetic bliss squall
that deeper truths we understand
to enable this just be still
that divine grace be thus invoked
and by surrendering our will
soul presence is with God’s light yolked
When Simple Simon met the pieman going to the fair,
He thought the guy an easy mark he could con out of his wares.
But the pieman glared at him and hissed,
"Bub, I ain't no danged pie-lanthropist!
Admit I must, you've got some crust,
But show me dough and then my wares I'll share."
Simple Simon said,
I neither say nor see rudeness,
But yet you think me to be crude.
Simple Simon said,
I am designed to rise above,
But never to dive and sink below.
Simple Simon said,
Direct me to the path of purity
And we will pursue it hand in hand.
So spake Simple Simon.
