reluctant leaves fall
from the old tree showering
an old man walking.

Brilliant
May morning.

singing

water drizzles
from above
showering flowers
with plenty of love
come to life
from a petal
to full grown
god smiles from
heaven above
Words just watered down.
Thoughts falling like sparkly tears.
Feelings soak through page.
Sentences flowing like streams.
Letters showering like rain.
hungry falcon dives
eyeing easy meal in nest
angry blackbirds rise
showering him with fierce pecks
leaving him stunned in surprise
Showering in the rain, a mockingbird
Unheard chirps, or his pain
A brown thrasher knocked him wane
Totally off the fast train
GETTING READY IN NATURE
Lions shaking all off…
Elephants self showering…
Snakes changing their skins…
Human nature needs cleaning…
Time to wipe out injustice…
Oh, lovely month of my birth,
Showering so much delight!
Your colorful canvas on earth
Are trees with fiery leaves so bright,
Heavy rain of confetti keeps falling in my sight.

Hoping caters eclipse of roses showering falls
Swinging hands genome of leaves weeding grains
Twirling trumpet log of woods singing moons

Written words by James Edward Lee Sr 2020
All the fluttering flicks of the dewy-leaved trees
Send showering silvers to kiss and please,
But our lips, slim smit in the midst of these,
Send shuddering shudderings right through our knees!
All the fluttering flicks of the dewy-leaved trees
Send showering silvers to kiss and please,
But our lips, slim smit in the midst of these,
Send shuddering shudderings right through our knees!
Your smile shinning bright
reflected in the mirror of my heart;
I see diamonds in your eyes
showering me with love.

Sun smiling
Showering rays
Of love over all

Christmas lights are starting to bloom,
showering multicolored holiday grace
across increasingly bare, late fall suburban landscapes.
I love, I need, the perfectly placed, perfectly timed, whimsy.
It's cherry blossom season
Pink petals of confetti
Showering the wedding party
Blessing bride and groom.
Watching night-time sky
Shooting star blaze overhead
Wishing good not bad omen
Tomorrow's love tryst.
Books are beautiful
Full of love and light
Taking us on journeys
A fantasy or reality flight
Immersing us in wonder
Showering down on us light
Books are wort their weight in gold
Books define my whole life.
The moon is a curving flower of gold
It was made for me and you,
In this night so cold
It's petals showering us light
As lovers dancing through the night
Enjoying the rhythm of the dear moonlight.
Line 6 - Sarah Teasdale
Glowing tree beyond the wall
Showering with leaves
A bright rose color is shown
Hears those that believe
Solid with no fear
Growing higher on life’s edge
In my heart so near

Sunken in green
"Yawk!" "Yawk!" the cawing sounds.
Trunks, branches, twigs slope
and bend upward, as we bend towards each other,
Our common causes, showering out of us,
Drenched in the noise of the wood.
I'm returning to you now.
Sunshine waking dawn
Spring rain showering the lawn
Sparrows chirping songs
The morning sunshine
Lifts the dew drops from the pines
Softly the wind cries
Red roses blooming
They will often need pruning
Honey bees zooming
