Anacrusis
Embraced by this shape-shifter word,
to relive the birth of sounds,
your voice is the ever anacrusis....

winners and losers
shifting

the soup of gravy
poured into a shifter
the residue
is thrown away
if we assume the sifted
is a soup
we shall not know
if the lumps
in the sifter is the truth
no one
wanted to hear

Loving Life
Distressed mother
What happend to quality?
Rocky relationships

Finding confidence
Loving person; also loved back
Confusion clearing

Life constant shifter
Growing up, living adult
Brand-new perspective!...

The Sea At Night
a move of broken glass
black as polished leather,
burnt wood, the big shifter

that trembles steel under us,
the horizon hides above,
a curtain made of holes

with stars around as the
lost language of wind,
howls of salt, tide of night...

Premium Member One Autumn Day
As a shape shifter I change into a bird
and fly high above the sunlight forest.
The trees now losing their leaves show
me the patches in between what was once hidden.
Glimpses of lake and stream glittering and gleaming
and the multitude of dazzling Autumn colours,
give a sense of peace and memories of long gone Summer.

Premium Member What Could I Do
Watched myself turn into a red kangaroo
Spontaneous shape shifter – what could I do?
I tried to yell but my words were garbled and few.
Got chased out of the house by my first husband too.

At a dirty window spied my neighbor strange Sue.
She screamed before I had time to even say boo.
Tried to write a note but it was something I could not do.
No opposable thumbs when you’re a red kangaroo....

Premium Member My Dream As a Shape Shifter
I was a nervous young fawn
Tasting sweet April grass in a lovely meadow
Sensing danger, realizing wolves were surrounding me
Bam!

I had shapeshifted into one of them.
Their alpha was sharp, he sensed I was still a deer.
He urged them to close in.
Wham!

I am now an eagle,
soaring high above the pack, out of reach
Even their alpha looks confused
I do not think they understand shape shifters....

She Was a Shifter
He had landed a pretty lady
and now she was finally home
then visit to the shower room

She came out very different
he had finally picked up
a morbid shape shifter..

All the beauty washed down
by the enchanted shower
all the beauty washed away

He opened a bottle of liquor
he needed to calm his nerves
to be able to proceed forth

And offer his supplications
to the fate for dealing him
these mad tidings of her..

Riddle
I am a distorted disturbance in the dark.
Generated by my victim, I forsake it.
I leave it to be ruled by its own darkness.
Avid of power, I wreck havoc from hell.
I am a fog cloud that alters the brain;
I flick the switch from fact to fiction.
I attack with full force, abandoning all good.
As a shape shifter, I slither my way through slumber.
I embody evil, eager to destroy minds.
With a swoosh, I smother the thought creator.
What is it that you think I am?...

Luke the Drifter
Is he here?
Can it be?
Straight from Nashville, Tennessee
Luke the Drifter
or a mortal shape shifter.
Hank come here
is it really you?
your tearful words helped me through.
Did really write all those songs
about Miss Audrey and the man who done her wrong?
You smell like beer
and your trail leaves behind a single tear.
You look grim and reek of fear.
Your skinny face leaves a trace
of weakness.

I suddenly woke up!

Untitled
I love the way you lay hands on me.
Soft, gentle, careful kind but not like
I'm breakable no, more like I'm valuable.
I feel something like a precious stone in
your soft jewelers palms.

I cherish the heat that rises from
your body
That 98.6 degrees of you, the sound
of your heart is my homing signal.
That steady strong thrumming keeps more than you alive.

I love you like a shape shifter,
Id transform for you.
I'd become anything so you could carry me with you always....
