What Could I Do

Watched myself turn into a red kangaroo
Spontaneous shape shifter – what could I do?
I tried to yell but my words were garbled and few.
Got chased out of the house by my first husband too.

At a dirty window spied my neighbor strange Sue.
She screamed before I had time to even say boo.
Tried to write a note but it was something I could not do.
No opposable thumbs when you’re a red kangaroo.

LOL. I don't think I've ever seen a red kangaroo, but if you say so.

There is a red kangaroo - it was in a children's world book unless they forgot to do the research which actually is possible these days.
