Searching for a secluded seat in sea urchin’s seaweed.
Secreting secret signs, settling in a sailor’s simple shoe.

Tower of Light
Shining bright beacons
Fore warning, possible doom.
Edge end of the sea,

Seafarers delight
Magnified for gloom of night
Destination marks.

The Lighthouse
It appears undaunted, unstrainably
By duties dictated exclusively
To provide protection unfeignfully
For needed traveling unharmfully.

It safely furnishes luminescence
As proven effective unfailingly
In guiding seafarers efficiently
To harbors constructed judiciously....

Premium Member Wave of Skepticism
What are we, if not seafarers? Writing words and aspirations to escape, Kraken's grasp of deep dark seas. Of turbulent brains during the storm. A wave of skepticism, as if love was magic. Isn't conceivable that this never occurs.

A bird with a shadow as big as a bus Archaic the sailors that in him will trust Always at sea coming in from the stern Arrogant seafarers will need to learn Ancient beliefs all have basis in fact As may become clear when the odds are well stacked Adrift on a life raft?.. He’s poultry… that’s that

Premium Member Getting the Job Done
“Necessity is the mother of invention,”
Making the case for improvisation,
Seafarers would say, “jerry-rigging,”
Results can often create a sensation.
Using what’s at hand to get a job done
Sometimes new and better ways ensue
I’ve been known to fix it with duct tape
As a last resort, I’ve used Elmer’s glue.

The Vanished Home
The Vanished home

Most seafarers find their way home
others get lost on the way.
One was washed up on the shores of Algarve
and stayed the home he knew was no longer there.
But a memory of log fire and a mother
who read books and rarely looked up to see were
her children had gone.
It is all too late now; the seafarer lives another life....

Human Maggots
Human Maggots

If ejaculated semen
From millions of seafarers
Over hundred years
Think if this floating loneliness
Had met up and formed
An Island
And up from its depth sprung
The unborn like larvae
Whose only contact
With mothers were what
The seaman
Was dreaming of at the time
Not Atlantis re- emerging
But an island born out of tedium
And tired desire
Not on a chart
To find its existence
So be careful when dreaming....

Think of this floating loneliness

An Island.
And up from its depth
Sprung the unborn

Explorations of cerebral fascination
  Devilish ideas' mutated peregrinations
Spirited inhalations of tribal incantations
  Torso-twisting through saucy peregrinations

Whilst the grimy sesame toast's torn asunder
  Swashbuckling seafarers burble and blunder
Through Deli Yammer's roasted pickle bars de-acidified
  n Arm n Hammer's blue-cabbage-power shake de-histified

If you think all this is rather hard to follow
Dr. Fauci's linking it in cuneiform on marshmallow...

Winds Return
A fog bank on the Horizon,
As a barrier to our way.
And oh the sea, so tranquil,
No breeze to ruffle it's face.
        Our ship drifting aimlessly,
           Her sails hang motionless.
Like peace fullness, the stillness brings,
            It teaches Hearts to rest.
Some sailing on this ship of life,
            See Doldrums as an end
          Take courage fellow seafarers,
             The winds will come again....
