Seagulls saunter the shoreline, nipping at scraps of dead fish

Hunters and gatherers will soon have more than a bellyful

Gils choked by the black tar and oiled wings await Gulf sea life

Swans

Swans

Shimmering in the sun,
silky skin glides pale ponds.
Secrets spoken to ears,
salty tears leave frail eyes.
Soft air swirls the boat’s sails.
Serene pictures of us,
slumbering at faint dusk.

New Orleans

New Orleans
New Orleans
A time of sorrow at least it came
[by wind] and not by hand of man
to give ones life is hard enough
to lose a city by God's command
at least it's not so rough
the way of life at your command
is flooded.

River of Hades

The somber sludge spreads forth, swallowing every entity in its path. Vexed spirits burst free, grotesque faces all around. This river that was once pure and refined; now tainted, Now reeking of demise, the body count is untold. This dismal bog has seen it all from tin cans to oil spills. It once harbored life, now it steals your soul.

Not Giving Back

we pillage the future and rape the land
we don't give back, can't understand
what was once a garden of Eden
is all lost by our deceiving

we fill the air with toxic dust
while into oceans oil gushes
sea life dies from our mistakes
volcanoes flow, and the ground quakes

what will it take to make us see?
what will it cost to make Earth clean?
what we pass on to our poor heirs
what we destroyed without a care

Low tide.
Scattered rocks wear
weedy jackets to shield
sea life from the drying air
and in the far distance,
clouds leak a fine mist of rain
as if to cool the heat
of a setting sun.

It is a joy to be here -
on this beach, at this moment
that has taken the universe
billions of years to unfold
by blowing up stars, recycling
the leftovers into the wonder
that is here and to take it in,
made me.

Infront of Your Eyes

With pains I am in life living
And I did not know life except with you while I am living

In front of your eyes I became happy
In front of your eyes I became snoopy

And they say not sensitive and not for you
No my heart and body affected by you

You remember my life, you remember my suffers
You were holding my dreams as lovers

You are the sea with it's beauty and it's water waves
So you are a sea that the moon up of it

Phuket

Phuket, along Andaman, an escape
Blue sky, life ventures, it creates
Wonderful culture, a heritage
Is life savor, simply tastiest

Cascading waterfalls, verdant forests
Ideallic appeal and fishing villages
Lies wild islands of distinctive shapes
With hidden cliffs, and saltwater lakes

Breathtaking sea and sand, affectionate
At dawn lies full gem, unexpressed
Influenced, inspired, it's timeless
Enchanting, Phuket, truly said

Sand and Sea

I love to walk with the waves lapping my toes
cool wet sand beneath my feet
walking this way is long, but not tiring
Along my walk I find many treasures
cool wet sand beneath my feet
enjoying the sea life on my trek
Along my walk I find many treasures
sometimes I get to see a starfish
enjoying the sea life on my trek
walking this way is long, but not tiring
splashing sand and sea feels neat
I love to walk with the waves lapping my toes

Plastic Oceans Glass Cages

Splash!
Down for another dive
But wait!
What is this?
No fish?
No turtles?
No sea life?
Just plastics
Plastics and dead coral!
Our oceans destoryed
My lifelong hobby gone.
Sea creatures kept behind glass
where grubby fat hands tap at them
staring with widened gazes
Sadness is not a strong enough word
Not strong enough to describe what we have done.
Protectors of the earth?
More like destroyers of habitats.
Don't let this nightmare become truth.
