Awaiting Demise

Seagulls saunter the shoreline, nipping at scraps of dead fish Hunters and gatherers will soon have more than a bellyful Gils choked by the black tar and oiled wings await Gulf sea life

Yes, Carolyn, so depressive that great oil spill!!! ---And it will come also to Europe!!! I love eating seafish, but what will be eat in the future? BP managers should be jailed! They now blame Obama, but it's not Obama, what could he do? The blame is on the Republican Presidents, the supporters of big business! We here got the same problem with our present government (Christian Democrats and Liberals) also supporting the rich and business!! Thanks for all your comments! Love, Gert

vivid image, such... I can't think of a word for it. Too tragic, and will bring some serious karma I believe. But in just three sentences you gave us the story.

Terrific capture of the situation in hand. The local food chains are in serious danger of being poisoned beyond this spill. Many dangers lurk in the oil that's been spilled. Once in the chain, who knows how the chemicals will react with the existing ones. Different chemicals exist in different oil finds. Watch this space. Have a wonderful weekend Carolyn >> James
