In WW2 Sweden sheltered
Jews in desperate need
Today Swedes burn a Torah scroll
a brutish, dastardly deed
the punishment in ages past
was to have your words written like on a scroll
on your back
carved in with or without you.
Oceans of ink
Earth as scroll
Having words
Story Untold
God's love
For all earth
Sent from above
With laughter and mirth

oui
can i help you
Yeah we are looking
for a table
Down his list
he scrolls
Name please
Humanity
stop mid scroll
lifts his head
sorry we are full
The scroll was undone
and cut into squares
making it easy to write on both sides;
Then sewn up,tested and tried-
Soon the Good News soon spread, far & wide.
Type any word in YouTube search
and pick music
then scroll down and stop
and listen to that track
I'm calling it Someone else's tube
or not
Just a thought
His heat permeates
through my flesh.
His embrace enfolds
like an ancient
scroll--- completely sacred
and "long" lasting.

Poetry, the calligraphy of the soul
Offering readers knowledge so deep
Expressing their heart on a scroll
Thoughts to cherish and keep
Shared verse, a joy to reap.
Through writing prompts I quietly scroll,
five with the same topic takes a toll;
How many ways can you say
the same thought in a new way?
I suppose I will just sit and troll.
It’s so easy to slip into the numbness,
of this handheld drug, scroll
myself away.
Lately, I’ve slipped so far, so deep,
into blissful emptiness, I’ve lost
myself, my way.
Dark thoughts twitching on a nightstand.
Wrinkled -bloated-bloodied.
Like an ancient boxing glove.
Powerless-broken-longshot.
A dead sea scroll- smoldering.
In the chambers of a burned-out heart.
Climb a mountain, scroll the sky
diving from a plane.
I live a life not one can buy,
for action is my name.
I offer you my freedom,
and in return I ask
That finally I can become
a simple life at last.
Form:
Unbury my hearts secret
With the scroll of a pen
Engrave my darkest thoughts
On a haunted page
Scarred by the rapture
Of a scorned soul
Look openly
Only your eyes can see
Mark my words
With invisible ink
Form:
Poignant scroll on impulse
plethora of brainstorm
pen a lucid haze with
panoramic line shade’s
plush enchanted metre
peeping into vacant
psyches hollow crater

Far away from your ancient moor,
I feel your thoughts call for my soul
and transport me to Eden's door!
Can musings like yours divinely toll,
beguiling me onto your shore
like the gods who read from a scroll?...
I do acrobatics by the hour
I am a fast flyer. A real “wower”.
I hold my front legs out ready to seize.
I can fly backwards at a breakneck speed.
Who am I? (Scroll down).
Dragonfly if you please!
Far away from your precious moor,
I feel your thoughts call for my soul
and unclose me to heaven's door!
Can thoughts like yours divinely toll,
beguiling me onto your shore
like a god that reads from a scroll?...
I never try my hardest,
makes me look like a show-off,
kick back and rot with the pack,
glimpses of it is all you will see.
But when you do,
jetattura will drop your jaw,
write off a skeleton face,
onto a scroll of culture.
I've searched my 'puter from Adasaurus
All the way through to Zapalasaurus
But bless my dear old soul
The more I search and scroll
I've yet to find one named a Thesaurus
Buried in wait
This handwritten note
As tidal caresses
Soothe a patient scroll
Forsaken sands keep vigil
As Silence screams from beyond the bottle

I can imagine
The Mount melting into a fount
And the fount hardening into a mount
I can imagine
The earth squeezing into a ball
And the heavens rolling into a scroll
But to imagine
You out of my sight
I’ll rather die than imagine
caving in the shadow of sun's embrace,
new scroll rolled up on earth,
reveals the world's end.

Sometimes I scroll on the obituaries,
and see people who had dreams, life,
and something to live for;
I see their eyes looking back at me,
with “you have something to live for”,
glowing in their eyes…..
