lover?
she sees a man, she calls the cops
his color is a threat
she sees a filthy scrawny dog
she takes him home
to share her bed.

I just made a new friend called Connie
Of course with the AKA Johnny
She sometimes seems rude
and often time lewd
But always His poems are scrawny
I'm a tortured man. I'm a tortured man.
I can't believe I am who I am.
My life's a mess.
I'm bored with sex.
I'm a scrawny little guy with a big Adam's apple neck.
I'm a tortured man.
While the wind
driving the clouds;
Between the old oak trees.
I Left sadly,
above the bare hill,
two scrawny shadows:
For sake a thousand,
hovers' torch,in saffron fields.

scrawny
sweet
dachshund
her wholesomeness
was alleviated !

Is a class action suit like a gym suit in school
All skinny and scrawny acting the fool
Impressing the girls
With swirls and whirls
Little did we know we was anything but cool
This old straight back chair,
leaned back against kitchen wall.
Dad set me on scrawny lap;
tired face in hands.
Said I yuv my feety dad.
His smile just a memory...

I
am the
short, scrawny
girl who hides out
on the cliff looking
back with envy at World
who always delicately
fed themselves with golden spoons with
serving processed foods- steamed and fatty.
They don't know I'm like rat stealing their trash.
Bully
The grade school bully
Twas so fiersome
Til the scrawny
Lad came home
To show his daddy
His bruises gruesome
The two by four itchy
To be applied to the dome
Of the bully
Not so fiersome
Going about sully
With a cap for a crown
I have a favourite type of girl,
I love my ladies trim
Like Skinny Ginny
And Ultra slim Kim
I love them thin and bony
Not a hint of saggy
I like Scrawny Dawny
And Scraggy Maggie
Lovely Lean Jean
Or Slender Brenda
For the nearer the bone
Is sweetest and tender
Form:
long and scrawny legs no shorts
struts though the water
feathers stay completely dry
hidden in tall grass
little fish swims between legs
reason to get wet
swallows fish in single gulp
strikes a perfect pose
ladies he awaits

For Rhonda's Florida Nature Contest.
T is for talented, can gobble and gobble and gobble
U is for underfed, won't taste good, scrawny
R is for regal, feathers fluffed up and holding waddle up high
K is for keen, too eager
E is for earnest, long face and won't give a small gobble or laugh
Y is for youthful, too young too die!
I'm not pretty and I'm not sweet
I'm skinny and scrawny and I lack meat
All I've ever wanted is somebody who loves me and cares
Without me having to worry about my face an hair
Is it me?
Am I ugly?
Is it my personality?
Maybe I'm just not pretty?
Suddenly all my worst fears are true
nobody will love me like they love you
My husband and I live in a birdhouse the woman said.
I was amused when I met her scrawny necked husband.
He was built like an ostrich with a rear that stuck out.
And long skinny legs, that reminded me of most birds.
I wish he did not wear those striped socks, she said.
I thought their birdhouse was more than appropriate now.
Scrawny Tony gaunt and bony scraggy bag of beastly bones
He was pony de la Manchu chum of Mister Marty Jones
He had an intense perception
And skills of great execution
In a sense of perfect destructiveness he chomped my hipbones

morning fog diffuses light
the sun has lost direction
and the world is enveloped
in silence
skeletal trees line
the potholed road
as two scrawny crows
huddle in the bare branches
yesterday's mass murders,
flooding across the pond,
asteroids,
sudden solar wind.

drowning in our effluence?

Billy has a deck of cards
I don’t know where he got it
I’ve never seen a deck like that
I don’t know if he bought it.
It’s a special deck of cards
With fancy font and faces
A couple extra kings and queens
And something like 8 aces
He plays poker all day long
With scrawny “one eyed Willy”
And everyone will say the same..
Don’t play cards with Billy.
Tall yet scrawny,
Contrition attempts to
Force its way through.
In this small window
Breed opportunity but of
An unknown flavor.
Goog-a-lee eyes always
Scrupulous and indeed
Tempting perhaps for
Once ignorable?
Unsheltered of course
Two wills in opposite
Directions cannot
Demand wholeness.

Fear has taken many
By scrawny necks
Shaking them like rag dolls
They relax fully
Enjoying the turbulence
Giving up everything for the shaking
Fear wears a mask
Fear wears gloves
Fear throws statistics on a TV screen
Pandemic?
Not here
Not me some say
For it has not touched them yet
They take no precautions
Fearlessly living
Annoying the fearful
The mocking bird perched up in my tree,
Comes everyday now to visit me,
His feathers puff up as he tweets his little song,
He loves the attention so he stays pretty long,
This old bird can't get enough so I'll build him a house,
And fill it with bird seed every time he comes around,
Poor little fellow, so scrawny and small,
I'll feed him everyday until he gets big and strong!
They lean upon one another
Teetering drunkards
Swaying in dependencies dance
Scrawny limbs clinging to frailties hope
There is a solemnity to their silent passing
An honor in their slow demise
An eerie bagpipe squeal in their movements
It is a privilege to sit among them
Listen to their ring bound stories
Breathe in their ancient scents
Disappear into their timeless moment

along came a flying pig, an October sight
which is pretty much only seen on Halloween night
He followed a brook, the full harvest moon, his only light
This pig was bright for sure, I mean fluorescent bright!
scrawny witch flew by and screamed out in fright
the pig laughed at her silly nervous plight
a wizard tried to change the pig into a knight
the pig laughed again and flew off into the night
Mum roasted a ptarmigan for tea
But the meal didn't satisfy me
It was a scrawny old bird
The taste was pretty absurd
So I'm off to the chip shop quickly!
On Monday I was using a random word generator and it came up with Ptarmigan which is a word I had never heard of. I've since discovered it's a bird which is native to Canada but they can also be found in Scotland

a blood-letting sun
sets as slow as an amber tear
in a shot glass
dotty is lost in oz
ruby slippers
run on a treadmill
of long summer evenings
avocados turn brown
drowned by a late light
a vein is open
watching eyes water
over a crimson gash
a gush
bleeds out
into a hoodwink
then sinks inside
a darkening cowl
an infant
wails
in a witch's
scrawny arms
none see
the birthing knife
