Straight Back Chair

This old straight back chair,
leaned back against kitchen wall.
Dad set me on scrawny lap;
tired face in hands.
Said I yuv my feety dad.
His smile just a memory...

Delightful images Caryl of a youngster sitting on her dads knee, as so many of us have. Good luck in Rick's contest :)

Genuinely moving, Caryl. What a lovely memory you have of your father. I was blessed with a loving Dad too, but so many have had parents that were not good to them. Excellent entry for Rick's contest and I wish you success! Love, Carolyn
