Made of Stone

Saying goodbye,
never saying hello

All doors locked behind me
—their keys made of stone

I said goodbye today
To alcohol in a letter
In the partial program

Never Ever Land

A lady who looked like she'd die
Just knocked on our door to say, "Hi!"
She wanted to cry
But did not know why
Then left without saying goodbye . . .

Real Time

Saying goodbye to all that’s past,
tomorrow slipped away

The moment cherished, the instant pure
—living for today

Saying Goodbye

Quietly she walks
holding back a flood of tears
they all sense her pain
empty stares behind their eyes
as she lay her child to rest

Reasoning Reason By Anna Lo P

Reasoning with reason I would say,
Maybe I'm too MUCH for you, or
Maybe you're just too LESS for me, I guess.
Maybe that's the reason WHY,
You left without even saying Goodbye...

Daybreak

saying goodbye to you
gives me the power
to summon the dawn

hoisting the sun
like a little atlas
we never knew

i had such strength
i didn't cry that day
or the day after that

Love Last Forever

You ask me to love you forever.
I never realized you were saying goodbye,
When you said” I love you” more passionate than ever.
You have moved on without looking back.
I forever love you looking alone.

Love Without Hope From the Book and the Pen

As you left you stole my book
Before saying goodbye I stole your pen
I know in my book you hug my look
You know in your pen you come back again

Trying to walk away
after a lifetime together
seems so hard

despite the memories

Farewell

Taking pen in hand or with stroke of a key, saying goodbye to a friend is never easy.
I'll say farewell, then from your life depart, for my leave is only my physical presence, as you will always have my heart!

I Love You Robert

When I say I love you,
Please believe its true!
When I say forever,
Know that I'll never leave you!
When I say goodbye,
Promise me you won't cry,
Because the day I'll be saying goodbye,
Is the day I die.

He sat and thought
about how the world
stopped spinning
after she went away

she left one day
without a kiss
without saying goodbye
just disappeared

leaving his life barren

Never Goodbye

Goodbye to the end of time

Goodbye is so hard for me
but its okay to say goodbye
for a little time

people always say goodbye
is always the start of saying hello
so instead of saying goodbye

I'll say hello.

Defining Grief

Defining Grief

the day my
mother died
i was awake all
night
searching
for a way back
into her womb

but she had
closed
her legs to me
wrote
no vacancy
across her heart

and left without
saying goodbye.

Lizzo Where did you go? Here for just a short time. You packed everything up and left. It looks like you made a lot of friends here. You left without saying goodbye. That really wasn’t nice. Good luck to you. Au revoir.

Hope

If only saying goodbye,
was easy,
without the pain,
without the suffering.
Forgetting isn't a choice,
there's no way out.

What if i just leave,
Without saying goodbye?
I'll leave them with hope,
Hope that I'll be back someday.

Footprints

saying goodbye to you
every time
is like being in a snowstorm
and watching my only companion
walk away through the whiteness
fading away through
pale distance
until the only evidence
you ever existed
are footprints
already
gone
