The Modern Age
Look how far civilization has come,
Take away all of our technology and advances
And we are still the same
Primitive
Bloodthirsty
Savages
That we were 2000 years ago....

True
So naked that i long to be,
Amidst this pure insanity.
Powerful these words i write,
Surreal is this enlightened sight.

Bursting out to conquer life,
As sharp as angels on a knife.
A blade that thickens to the hilt,
And savages eternal guilt....

Disease
It runs through the blood, like savages, raping and pillaging.
Killing everything in its path.
It is called by many names, destruction is its purpose.
The warriors are silent.
The greed is strong, the city lay dead.
The graves are full and the savages grow stronger....

The winter storm savages the garden,
flowers fall crumpled on the ground,
they’ll blossom with touch of spring.
In turmoil the splintered heart
scatters unpossessed like petals,
it’ll bloom with embrace of love.

Universe Destructed
I’d annihilate
the ascending sun
from the sky

incinerate the
eremitic moon
beyond recognition

eradicate
each and every
constellation from its
galaxy

decimate every
planet one
at
a
time

if I believed
that it would
give you one
instant of
respite

from the
savages gorging
on your essence....

My Daughter
My daughter had an abortion
She was hooked to alcohol
She slept with savages
She took drugs with cronies
She was sad and morose
She did not care anybody
She left school at 16
Went to reformation home at 18
Released at 19
And got pregnant at 20
She aborted a fetus of 25gms

This story may be noted my lord
She died at 21....

Commissary
The rains speak to me
Let the torrents wash along
Questions unasked
Sometimes
The words of the Old Man ring
Constant
Let the mountains speak
Let the winds howl
Timidly, I lap at waters
Tamed savages sip savagely from behind
Cages made of glass
Etiquettes and bestiality
Woven into
Golden urns
Whose contents are black ashes!...

Savages
Mentally ill chosen by a few cowards they struck;
Against fundamentals of mankind and society.

Jehad against Allah's doctrine in self destruct role;
Seek a place in heaven with innocent blood on hand?

Living in hell these cowards await final judgment,
For Allah's wrath is infinite, punishment divine:-

"Soundless and endless."...

Waking
A pain throbbing in rage seeking the comfort of dirt staining underneath the fingernails, riot to
no more identity unfound, i caution the ache but it forced a way through, like a worm to wiggle
forth eating the pupil to my sight having a resting peace in my thoughts birth the savages taking
on the flesh, waking up from a dream of life.

Crumbling crinkly, cracker crumbs

into salty, seafood stew,

Mother made our midday meal.

Fast for favorite food we flew.

Gluttony Glenda gulped a glass

of Linda's lovely, lemon tea.

While Will wolfed down whole walnut meats,

carefully crunching kernels free.

"Savages", sister Susan said.

"Politeness, please," our papa pled.

Across the barren plains
The sounds of silence I recall
Aftermath of fierce fighting
This was no Indian love call,
Moans of proud nations vying
No manifest destiny for all
An uneducated public convinced
Savages, worthy only of dying,
The national shame now haunts
Us. Slaughter of the innocents
While they protected their own
Let’s not erase their footprints.

December's Tale
It is the turning month,
the time when life sleeps,
and our dreams shiver...
when the night grows
bolder, darker, colder,
and daylight seems so
weak, slight, bending.
But the air that rushes
into your lungs like a
horde of ice-dripped
savages sears souls
into fully awakening
from summer's trance,
and so we feel more
alive in December's
desolation than any
other time of the year....
