Premium Member Seeing Both Sides
Listen to poem:

one foot on each side, now.
Whichever way I lean
sends the upside down
and the downside up.
Slippery slide
to the flip-side
is unworkable.
It's lunge, parry
riposte....

Sword Play
Watch
Riposte
Spin, and then
Pique the heart ink
Diffidence showing the appalling link

Firmament encroached; caliginous stars
Ergo; all mars
With but three

blew out the candles....

Mirror Me.
Studying the face’s familiar eyes
Compelled to ask, “Who are you?”

In a cant voiced riposte he said
“Wealthy and destitute”,

“I am impartial and prejudiced”,
“Compassionate and derisive”,

“I am modest and narcissistic”,
“Munificent and niggardly”,

“I am astute and imprudent”,
“Dignified and indecorous”,

“Each piece of this puzzle is me”,
“And I am the puzzle in entirety”

My mirrored face then audaciously asked,
“Now tell me…who are you?”...
