A hologram in which each part

Man's invention
for measuring that most precious commodity,
called time.
A commodity which God retains control,
while allowing man to determine its use.

tricking into a dream
that our limited free will

This body's outer surface
Of cracking plaster

For this bright feels, a youth's

When mind and body feel the strain of years,

When time grows short and sunset is in view,

Of meditative paths..
But seemingly an
Assumptive separation
Bedrocks a story:
A separate individual
Achieving said goal..
However~
As a story it retains
Beautiful significance...
A wide range of a majestic soul wonders
Beneath the tired eyes of a loss soul
The soul throws away the ounce of
Fight, as the body retains the stress
The stress eats away the dignity of those
Who fight, but dignity can't be defined.
I'm tired, my soul tired too.
The young man was tough
and got his job done.
A heavyweight Champ
at just twenty some.
Most of those men
who gave it a run.
Were flat on the canvas
from a right uppercut.
Iron Mike was a Bad Man
and tough as they come.
A World Champion,
He, Retains the only one.
A fraction of my sense of humor
retains and loves full blown sarcasm mode.
I have to watch it at work.
I deal with children.
They are experts at it.
At home my husband catches my barbs in his glove
Winging them past outfield to hit the fence
So we can remain in love.
Autumn faerie touched her wand to a yellow mum.
The mum’s colors turned crispy and an October brown.
Whether she retains her yellow next year is up to fate.
Some mums do, others do not, I never know which I have.

Yes, on the edge of death
I've felt the window of eternity
It wasn't a human personality
But silence and ecstasy
Too profound for words
Was this a hallucination?
Or this body kicking adrenaline
From the impact
Of the accident
Either way
Life still retains mystery
Plenty of worlds to uncover
For a heart so bold
Last days of summer
Autumn's presence felt
The sea retains some heat
Hardy souls take the plunge
While gulls skim and surf
Riding on waves that swell
A curious seal watches
Alien species enjoying
Freedom from the land.
