Sanity
Close my eyes
Don't say a word
Shush my cries

Whispers in my ear
Trembles down my spine
Behold, drops a tear

Unwanted hands caress
Sickening my spirit
Feeling under repress

Dream about morality
Run from my fears
Think of sanity

Dart away from this
Sweat drips
Suppress that kiss...

Hawaii
Where the blossoms bloom
on almond throats
grass skirts await the docking boats
floral splashed prints
awaken the sun
and room enough for everyone
Where black crowns shimmer
by the sea
and coconuts repress the trees
Where the whole world comes
to steal a part
of America's beauty
from her heart...

Grey Sky Morning
This morning when I awoke there was no sunlight in sky.
The sun had been replaced this morning by a grey sky.
Grey sky morning saddens my soul.
Grey sky morning repress my joy.
I know that every morning can’t be a blue sky
lit up by the sun’s golden glow
I’m just glad every day don’t start with a
Grey Sky Morning....

Premium Member Soft Spot Deep Within
You occupy a soft spot deep within,
so how could I,
so removed from your day to day,
ever want you to repress any part of yourself,
and expect all the other parts to work well.
Knowing you are experiencing some satisfaction,
where you choose to seek it,
warms in some way, even far away,
the unselfish part of my being....

Eternal Life
repress your instincts
suppress your impulses
you are civilised
frustration follows
we inflict sufferings
then on each other
and on ourselves
we create god
multiple then
recently single
religion is born
consolation
for the masses
hope for eternal
life what is the point
of eternal life if you
cant live here fearless...

Stupid Poems 19
love is an ocean
drink from it
you will be
delirious
repress your instincts
suppress your impulses
you are civilised
religion is consolation
for the masses
one religion with no
fear complexes no
priests would be
ideal but who
will tie the
bell
love is a river
drink from it
you will be
blissful

Cursed
Enclosed feelings
Soon hope will fade
Faulty,no fault
True feelings,no phase
Remorse and repress
The way you were made
Straight lies from the world
Onto our shoulders are weighed
Lost all hope and faith
Due to the creed
Try to change the outcome
Of the signs that they heed
All in all is well
Or darkness to lead
Hatred that they feel
Equals the love that we need...

Inception
Yes there are perks,
I can't believe it works,
You can repress all emotions until they leave this place,
It hurts at first,
Like losing 20 dollars at the table,
The trick is to not accept any more than the next,
My emotions became apart of my shadowy reflect,
Man.. it feels good to be knocked off the correct (path? Man I'm getting bad at these poems dude. They used to flow. Ha.)...

Our Tragedies
I'm angry
so angry
The testosterone is killing me
it has problems no-one wants to see

I love the dominance
I love the sex
I hate my emotions,
so I repress

I'm angry
so angry
I can't talk
without them laughing

Why am I angry?
so angry,
not sure why I'm dying
slowly

I finally realize why I'm angry
so angry
I tried to impress myself
while flying

Tragedy spoke...

A Mess
I confess that I'm a mess
When I am under lots of stress.
You might not guess the truth, unless
You see the signs of true duress.

Then more or less, I will regress
For coping skills I don't possess.
If I'd express what I suppress,
I'd be much better off , unless...

I could address why I repress.
That isn't easy - nonetheless,
By decompressing, my distress
Might disappear or be much less....

Looking At You Feels Wrong
a glance your way
pierces my heart
bringing back fresh memories
still trying to repress them
they burst back
into consciousness every time
in a moment of weakness
I look for you
I see you when your not there
that dreaded thought comes to me
do you still wish you had me?
i can't stand,
wobbling hope

I shouldn't feel this way
I'm over you

I glance your way
briefly
but it still
feels so wrong...

Congressperson Tlieb, what's going on
What's doing on the White House lawn

  Oh, we're defending the Palestinians
They're being slaughtered like American Indians

The Israels know how to oppress and repress
Our people's requests meet no redress

Well, Ms. Tlieb, lots of luck with all that ~
Ditch Hamas, Hezbollah, Saudi and Iran ~ Then
We'll address all your problems in a brief little chat...

How may we redress, feelings we repress, shrivelling our soul, now blackened like coal? Shortcuts do not work, so let us not shirk, cleansing of our heart, which is where we start. In thought, word and deed, ferality weed, all desires disrobe, watching each fear strobe. Stillness shows the way, how we cease to sway, to lower cravings, as love grows it’s wings. 01-July-2022

Anger
Everyone tells me I have a right to be angry,
that I shouldn't repress it.

'You have to express it!';
they tell me,
they say, 'why...if I were you',
but personally, I'm glad that you're you
and not me,
because, if you were me,
you'd REALLY be angry
and frankly,
I think there are already too many
people who're angry.

But maybe,
that's just me,
wanting to be
happy,
not angry.

So, please don't be
angry with me....

Rewriting the Past
We can try to change it

like furniture and rearrange it.

Like a bad picture

and retake it.

Like a bad batch of cookies

 and remake it.

We can act like it never happened

and repress it.

Hide it with a joke

 and laugh it.

Like not being sure of your decision

and second guess it.

Point all your fingers

and blame it.

Wish it would leave through the doors of your mind

you know stage right exit....

A Different Kind of Love
Through our poems we touch
each other's inner light
Thousands of miles seperate us
Yet the attraction is very strong
    Our spirits have touched
who can forget that?
Our bodies are buffeted by the powerful
  winds of lust and love
Heat rising from both of us
  Cuts through the winter night
like a sharp hot knife through butter
We can't repress thses feelings
I know that sure enough we will enjoy
A special joy - meant just for us...
