Water Versus Beer
Water is good
but beer is cool
water restores
beer renews
water brings life
beer brings liveliness
water sustains mortals
likewise beer regains men

Catharsis
Vile

Dart

Piercing

Hindsight Thoughts

Bring Anguish and Grief

Remove this Vile Thing from my brain

Memories flow out with arterial bleeding

Flushed out with unconstipated relief as catharsis regains hold on reality...

Pains
The pace is fast
Everybody is in a puff
Putting harsh words
Exchanging unfriendly swords
Trying to hurt each other
Not realising the victim in part
None other than oneself
The pain is inflicted
Inflicting wounds and new injuries
Endlessly it conjures
A new day begins
New pain regains...

The bright sunshine says hello
While left over autumn leaves, blow
Fresh air softly awakens my soul
Hope regains what winter stole
I sent it with a soothing breeze
Through branches waving in the trees
Capture the moment, as you rise
To feel the warmth from the skies

Magnificent Moon
it there when we wake up
it's there when we go to sleep
watching over the us all
our guardian the moon

up above in the starlight sky
always there though we may not see
protecting and watching
as hero of the sky

at day break the sun takes over
while the moon regains it's strength
it is protecting us
and always will...

John Crow
It hovers around
waiting in the air
perfect time to land
to salvage
Keen sense of smell
I can't detect
but I know where
it wants to go
The night a friend
to an enemy
snuffed him away
an innocent
Sad....
the owner regains
soil becomes the keeper
of the body
 the soul...in the heart
It flies away
 the sweet fragrance gone....

Renews Deja Vu
swaying roses' bunch
                                        arrayed in auburn dresses
                                           dazzling winter's mist

                                           regains same season
                                       fetch eyes auto exposure

The mist dissipates no longer shades of white
As sun breaks through with lemon light
Shadows begin to blur and shimmer
As a new day overtakes dawn
The drab colorless landscape regains color
Another season awakens from its slumber
Bringing forth the new growth of spring
After the harshness of winter
Nature begins to flourish
It's balance highly maintained.

Regains If Falls
God's blessings become fruits…..
                                          from the tree of actions
                                       Everything is God's creation

Regains if falls, blessed by Him
                                        Cycle is on from inception

Little Victories
The city moves and laughs and sings
Of lurid lights and fancy things
Of static electricity
And many opportunities

The acid clouds are dismal gray
Leave not a single trace of day
Wind withers and regains its speed
A buried, lonely poplar seed

But while the city screams and clanks
And people march in suited ranks
A little light the clouds do show
Wait now, the seed begins to grow...

The Last Leaf
A leaf clings to a lifeless branch
    In humble and tenuous hold
A limp and parched and fragile thing
     Endurance unconsoled

In life, through changes, we must face
     We’re sometimes like that leaf
Holding on, a threadbare rein
Through loss and pain and grief

Embrace, little leaf, my gentle friend
     Though chilly winds may hover
For life remains and strength regains
     Through change, we rediscover...

Fall Night Owl
Through frosted, fall night window panes,
a darkened shape in a pine tree,
an owl tall, tufted, stately,
listening for scurrying prey.

Gliding down, slow, whisper-quiet,
mouse stands out on the dusted leaves,
talons grab hold, down comes the beak...
I am lucky to have espied it.

Flaps back hard for the midnight pines,
with one quick bolt it’s had a feed,
regains its perch, at the ready
to stalk the shadows of night times....

Ode To the Egotist
I have listened to your moaning,
A voice that trembles with pride;
I have felt your anger so violently,
Thinking you were about to subside.

I have sought shelter far away,
Where all-inclusive tranquillity reigns;
Silence is complete without being traced,
While my mind all sanity regains.

An augment of egocentricity you are,
Not knowing how to be true and just;
Poorly afflicted by indifference,
Love to fill the awaiting heart is a must....

Winters end

When cold breeze loses its charm,
and weather regains back its warmth,
Snow clad mountains that start to melt,
when sun is at its zenith on the belt,

Winters are onto an end !

Heavy quilts lift their veil to bare,
Chilled faces begin to show a flare,
Out of hibernation appears the whole world,
Sun shines bright and the clouds hurled,

Winters are onto an end !!

Rains
Relentlessly the rains fall....
Like a brimming bucket's overflow...
Splashing in the process the things all...
Dry leaves...dry hearts...& dry sorrow...!

The clay regains the softest state...
Wet with water...soft with mud...
And the rains also rejuvenate...
The withering flowers & the ailing bud...

Thousands of umbrellas raised in unison....
Hide the heads...the inherent pain...
Despite the inconvenience & disruption...
Beneficial is the onset of rain....!...

February Fight In the North Atlantic
FEBRUARY FIGHT IN THE NORTH ATLANTIC

Turning home with her hold half full,
Wind picks up - raging, all the more
Fierce in its intent to smash her hull
And plunge her deep to the seafloor.

Murderous mountains of watery salt
Filled with cold hatred inside
In their drenching ice-bound assault
Make kamikaze charges along our side.

Snapping rime-heavy shrouds
Tumbling  the boat in the chill peril;
Overflowing scuppers foaming in anger loud,
As, engine screaming, she regains her keel....

I Miss You, Dad
I hope that you can hear me, dad.
The ache today is strong.
I thought I saw a glimpse of you.
My mind tells me I'm wrong.

Some days this torture I can bear.
My memories ease the pain.
But soon my heart regains control;
Grief surfaces again.

Please know that I did realize
How fortunate I was,
That I could always visit you--
If only "just because."

I feel the bruising of your loss
Will remain blue and black.
Such pain can't fade to lighter hues
Since you're not coming back....
