A month of blue skies and bright sun light,
U ntil summer paves way and autumn tints come to greet.
G usts of wind blow to drive away summer heat.
U mpteen thrills, at the beach side, await.
S trolling in the evenings brings much delight.
T rees, bearing flowers and fruits is an uplifting sight....

Lightning
L-ightening flashed and lit the sky
I-ndeed it was a storm nearby
G-usts of wind and sounds of thunder
H-igh in the clouds and way down under
T-rees and houses shaking with fear
N-ot a person had a minute to spare
I-t was never so scary at night
N-ever ever was the sky so bright
G-rannies and children all cuddled up tight....

Lest Youth's First Ardor E'Er Grow Cold
In gilded hours and yet again
I still hear the same refrain:

"Ho, Ho, Ho Chi Minh,
Out with the Yanks,
Let the Viet Cong in!"

Ah me! Times change and I am old.
Lest youth's first ardor, e'er grow cold,
Henry the Fifth is what I'll teach.
Boris, Boris, to the breach.

"Mogg, Mogg. Jacob Rees-Mogg!
Let's hear the bark of the British bull-dog."...

Christmas
Christmas is the time for giving and laughter.
Houses are covered with snow.
Reindeer fly in the beautiful moon sky.
It is really cold on Christmas day.
Stockings hang on the end of beds.
Trees decorated in golds and red.
Merry Christmas.
A time that will never be forgotten.
Soon as you awake open your presents....

(B)right sunshine paints the snow
(E)nlightening visions come alive
(A) winter day brings striking beauty
(U)nveiling the light in my soul
(T)rees bring delicate shadows
(I)nviting me to walk with stillness
(F)orging through trouble, calmly
(U)nderstanding winter’s message
(L)ight of love in a cold beautiful day

Shifting Shadows sculpt ebony edges
Inscribing boundaries of light and dark.
Light contrasts with fragmented flowing forms,
Highlighting converging differences.
Out of chaos structure seemingly takes form,
Utilizing rays of a setting sun.
Etched upon the fringes of night and day,
Trees merge with backgrounds of liquid black as
Time pauses, almost standing still, while dusk
Erases Twilight's sullied silhouette....
