Lightning
Lightning
L ighning flashed and lit the sky
I ndeed t'was a storm nearby
G usts of wind and sounds of thunder
H igh in the clouds and way down under
T rees and houses shaking with fear
N ot a person had a minute to spear
I t was never so scary at night
N ever ever was the sky so bright
G rannies and children all cuddled up tight.
