On early morn
children were playing
at the river’s shore
close to the noon
soldiers came
out of the blue
by the dim
river red
played theirs sins
The River runs fast
The red mud falls from the walls
Impressions soon left behind
Natures story told
Like the rings on the large trees
The red stain remembers all...
Iron oxide
Leads to red beach
Vivid red waves.
Color red beach
Form red algae
Red colored sand.
Paint sky red
Brush by red rays
Red light reflect.
Flash red river
Awes many eyes
Flood by tourist.
suitor sperm stops tired
sheds tears for days princess dead
he melts in red river

Red river, red river
Runs thinner, runs thinner
Scrapes and scratches
Lead to silence
As your heart
Collapses
Black coffin, black coffin
Soothe, Soften, Soothe, Soften
When nobody listens,
The gray grave glistens
Virgin Oil encased
Oregano, Basil & Thyme
Fragrance ascend
Blond strands flyway
Garlic Shards dancing
Swim in the wind
Pulsing Beef Stake
Red River Flowing
Seeds flooding
Tightly-wadded
Expertly wound
Wasp-hive
Atop her head
Angel hair pasta
A
Call
Received
In the cell
Was the harbinger
Of the bad news that was dreaded
Scatters of the stitched heart was dispersed in the thin air
Laying foundation for the sentiment that flows as a red river and flood with passion

Somewhere in your heart it is everdark
Through all its pumping terrain
Red on the river flows
Blood lands ever tart
Germinates the flowers grow
Environmental fathoms start
Red rivers pumping heart

I stand; barely breathing
Beneath the shower spray
As her blood drips slowly
From my finger tips
Mixing with the water
Dancing at my feet
I felt no remorse
Watching red fade to pink
For the only little girl
Ive ever made bleed
Is the one in the mirror
Always taunting me

His day on the river cutting board
He pitched his tent on river bank,
when big bears roam near, his heart sank.
On white rapid's rock stood three blacks,
fishing salmon to feed their cubs.
As autumn leaves spilled the forest orange,
sky and water dance blue, his day was red.

My heart belongs to the Red River girl,
with her smile and her eyes ever bright.
Her long hair in a Red River curl,
how I long to be holding her tight.
I know by her kind eyes of blue
that I won't let her out of my sight,
and I hope she will always be true,
but first, she must decide to swipe right.
last goodbye to spilling blood
colder realms of mangled dead
final breath from red river flood
piercing cries from wounded screams
nightmares paid for, we are wed
that tremble hearts in midnight dreams
addict's need of words unsaid

As I kept my raised eyes hooked to rivers
A shining swing of swords like the sliced moon
In polkas of blood a dark blue shiver
From red jungles comes up a meaty Hun

red river
the water flows in the little river.
not very fast so you can see the rocks on the bottom.
as you walk this river you see change that is a fear.
the river changes to red what a deed/
for the red is blood of a solider that died............
a blood red for freedom given
many have come and many have gone.
but the blood flows in this red river.of war blood
Dangerous Retreat
Intrepid movement, quickened feet,
unentered kitchen, intolerable heat...
Corner cut classes, your basic cheat,
uneducated mind brain kit incomplete...
Vicious entrapment from lies and deceit,
dark red blood soaked red river sheet...
Uncircled socially, a phantom to meet,
classified statistic, control, alt data delete...

OF RED RIVER AGONY
In this river,
Only crocodiles can be;
Alligators, no!
This is not only nasty,
It is red reality:-
The river’s bordering banks,
Are as red steaming lava:-
But let us not be dismayed,
There is that other river;
The rain-bowed river of God—
Banked by the soil of oneness:
Let us cross over:-

Red River overflows ...
North Dakota everyone knows
Where are all the movie stars aid?
Where are their phony dramatic shows?
North Dakota helped to build them up too,
that is why we cite this review.
Where is their help and fanfare?
Why haven't they traveled there?
Where is their help?
There are dire needs...
Perhaps they'll come, after the water recedes.

Each beating heart has a red river running through it
Traveling miles and miles and circulative rhythm
Every eye that's open is a window to your soul
And every mind is filled with electric rhythm pulsating
And every ear hears the sound of the angels singing
Alas the heart the soul the mind like a bell it's ringing

From anthology “MORE PRAISE”
Let's repeat our first dance....
Let's rebirth our forever promises....
Let's replay our sweet memories....
Symbols of red roses from you to me....
Flowers in my art to you as symbols of....
our love come true....
Let's reiterate our lovely vows for all time....
and eternity....
So, our love never becomes redundant....
Let's redeem our sweet love now....
Our red river of red roses rises and returns....
Our requited love....
RED RIVER
I sail the rapturous red river, where the sunrise
swallows the redwood trees, and equator clouds rain
dance ‘round the sun. Effervescent virtue kneels down
swirling a seascape of citrus lemon and blood orange hues.
Dove-white sails wave like linen on a clothes line.
A spectator iota bows her head in praise.

Rick Parise's 6 Line Max any subject
Water dripping from the faucet
I wish to tap in to it and flow
Like red river from indigo soul
Writing something that grows
Like a seed esteemed and springing
In each reader who is a believer
And even those who are deceivers
A word so good one salivates
A poem so inspiring it breaks chains
Chains of doubt
Chains of caste
Chains of illness
Chains of blocks of all kinds
Let the waters wash away strongholds
And create in me in you a new thing
I hold the blade In my hand
I’m better than this
I’ll follow the plan
The cool metal against my fingers
I shouldn’t do this
Yet the temptation lingers
But how else does the aching go away?
I have to do this
I know ill pay
I pick a place for a new scar
I want to do this
I didn’t get far
A deep red river flows from my thigh
I’m doing this
I try not to cry
I soak up the blood with a shuddering breath
I did this
The next step is death
UTERO HOLDER OF LIFE
Reddish brown hue
Holder of life
So easy to view
Beautiful
Mother’s hold held, life spoil
She stands tall, fertile
Legs sequoia
Woman mother of man
Releasing’s life’s blood
Eggs embryos
Down her limbs
Nurturer, mother of world
Red river life flows through
The womb monthly flows
Utero holder of life

"from LIFE DISCERN Anthology "
with a crescent palm
held against his lips,
he sends a silver psalm
into the wind-
the timbre, so frail
sails through a crimson sky
then falls into the valley
a valley so low---
"hear the wind whisper,
hear the wind blow...
down through the valley,
where it must go"....
upward it goes
on a smooth silver thread
till the thin-quaver ends
where the red river flows
