Your wounds bleed past tomorrow
an inconvenient truth
Unsutured blame — till death reclaims
its healing absolute

reclaims in surging matter
drop itself in black hole

recharge itself reborn

No Curtain Call
As we age
death
reclaims us
Stealing
our youth
and then our hope
In the ground
where
memories rot
Willing us
nothing
—but the dark
(Dreamsleep: August, 2023)...

What happens freely
the light reclaims
Cause and effect
together apart
Squaring the circle

The Throne
I only exist for rape
Deceipt to be my light
When God will make it love
and others hate the right
That God will have his vengeance
for others he will own
When love falls by the wayside
and God reclaims his throne...

Just August
These gold suffused August afternoons
The luxury of this lazy light
Sweetened beneath peach blossom moons
Wide dawn reclaims the narrow night
As the sun lifts on saffron balloons.

Power of Prayer
In deep amnesia
The truth forgotten
The future unknown
Entity flounders
Hither and thither
Directionless
In the darkness
Oblivious
To the true Self
In prayer
Innocence
Reclaims truth
The way
Inwards
Pure

Peter Pan Aglow
Unlike an opera Diva,
a writer hides his age
Scores to bear eternal youth,
a Contralto dies on stage
Ink reclaims the Land of Oz,
Dorothy to know
Toto barks—old lyrics march,
Peter Pan aglow

Overcoming Sorrow
Inevitable
Is pain that does stain
Bubbling joyfulness
Cessation reclaims
Bliss in innocence
Recognition
Earth life transience
Our stagnation
Ego parlance
This moment
Here and now
Fulfilment
Be still
At peace
Now

Decaying
house
long forgotten
where whispers still
drift
in a tangled forest
green and lush
vines and flowers
invading
the rooms ...
for nature always
reclaims what is hers...

Another Petal Falls
Another petal falls, a barren Rose
As nature reclaims her beauty
Another one to sweet repose
The universe in fated duty
A Robin sings a farewell verse
She leaves this world, her passage drawn
With arms to clench and lips to purse
We say goodbye, now she is gone...

Savoring Solitude
Soft soporific stillness in the night
Reclaims calm upon chaotic daylight.
Serene solitude takes a languid lead,
Reflecting on days’ rhythmic rapid beat.
My close companion, my favorite friend,
With you I wish demanding days to end.
To soothing spell of silence, I commend.

The Last Will and Testament of Mom and Dad
Doing things by the book
Mom awaits a secret garden
Cleansed through application
Years of service completed
Thoroughly laid down, she dreams
Of lofty French cathedrals
Her maiden name retained
Dad reclaims his potency
Unwearied by the years
Gladly rides his motorcycle
Beyond the frontiers
With his sons by his side
His independence fulfilled...

Smiles Or Frowns a Double Tetractys
Laughs
Turn to
Child like smiles
When you’re with me
Smiles filled with joy when we have time alone
Sadness reclaims the smiles when you’re away
Frowns find their way
From my face
To my
Heart

Still
Its been a while..a while since we got apart !!
But still your voice echoes my heart ??
Its all so different yet so same ...!!
Its still the same picture, but in a different frame....!!
My eyes still reflect a face ,memory reclaims..!!
Shooting for the stars, i still miss the aim ..!!
In the end, you lose some and win some!! I guess i just miss the game ??...

Sowing
He dreams of thin chickens pecking at a dirt floor.
A big brown teapot is stuffed with scraps of poetry;
words waiting to be led out like bawling cattle
into the haze and dust.
As he does every day, he seeks some less worked earth
to plant words into, hopes they will mature into
filler, grout, and spackle to patch up his wormwood.
Mostly they scatter on a dry wind
until night reclaims them....

A bsolute beauty intoxicates, and frees me
R adiant smiles on happy children's faces

Unto Thee
One last day to suffer,
as silence endures
One new day engendered,
to motion toward
A musical seamstress,
to stitch me back whole
A lyrical consort,
inscribed to behold
Each word as my seed,
laying fertile the plain
Each phrase lost and orphaned,
my spirit reclaims
That breath once bespoken,
new hope to set free
That voice reawakened
—whose soul unto thee
(The Book Of Prayers: April, 2020)...
