Savoring Solitude

Soft soporific stillness in the night
Reclaims calm upon chaotic daylight.
Serene solitude takes a languid lead,
Reflecting on days’ rhythmic rapid beat.
My close companion, my favorite friend,
With you I wish demanding days to end.
To soothing spell of silence, I commend.
