Free and Clear
Withdrawing from the Rat Race,
my fortune reappeared
The fog now gone, all clouds pulled back

Not Quite Lost
Another book misplaced,
another search through piles
of bills. My car keys dis-
and reappeared. Was it
the cat who hid my glasses?
Why, here’s that memo
I’ve been missing!
How things get shifty
with the years....

- A Fake Santa Claus -
Santa Claus so creepy and weird
Neon pink bathrobe, mask cracked and yellowed beard
On his left arm my dad`s clock, so strange - we feared
Mom just smile and laugh, dad in the bathroom - afterwards he reappeared

Quitters Never Win
An old man who fell down a shaft
Just sat in a heap looking daft
But his friend persevered
And he soon reappeared
Then looked down the shaft and just laughed

Eyelash
As subtle as a breeze
As thin as an eyelash
As timid as a tear
Love reappeared
Although days multiplied
And years doubled
Time cannot degress value
Essence of intimacy
Even though hope embarrased itself
And doubt grew strong
The end's tide came
And caressed the center of my joy
Though subtle as a breeze
And thin as an eyelash
Even timid as a tear
Love reappeared...

I do not know?
Flutter By, Flagon Dry
Walking the riverside, the rain stopped, the sun reappeared.
Weaving thru the weeds came the dragonfly.
A trembling shimmer of gauzy wings.
Darting electric blues,greens and bronze
In a crazy zig-zag dance.
Droplets clung to rain-splashed leaves.
A mosaic of life-nature's multitude.
The dragonfly bustled with fingertip precision.
Gathering fragments of gold,
It sped away,
A life in a day!...

Abracadabra It's Spring
Winter white has gone away
The colds all but disappeared
Spring is an amazing thing
Little deer come out to play
Sunrise in the early morn
Happiness, a sunny day
Sunset in the late evening
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day
Pink flowers have reappeared
An amazing thing is Spring
Children love Easter Sunday

Burn
I knew it the first time.
This would hurt a lot.
I'd take cover for you and yet you abandoned me there in cold blood.
How am I supposed to get it done?
When all it took to destroy me was one shot?
It all came down to me. It reappeared again.
I can feel them again.
So how could you? And why would you?
You once told me about words.
Be careful with them for they might start a blaze.
It did.
They did.
I burned.

Shaft of Light
It was a dark and lonely night
Suddenly there came a shaft of light
My heart was jumping out of my skin
While trying to keep all fears within
I became silent, my legs became stiff
I felt like I was pushed of a cliff
Then suddenly I saw a strange ship
I got so frightened that I bit my lip
It came and disappeared
Then again it reappeared
Is it aliens or just a dream?
Maybe some things aren’t what they seem

Sierra
I almost lost you in July
I'm glad you're here
If you do not return
I don't know what I do
Felt so empty
Without you near .
My heart could not bear
The thought of losing
You my friend .
Anxiety kicks in
As the days go by
I cried my self to sleep
Every night
I did
Pray for a safe return
And God answered
Three months later
our adventure begins again
It's like if I was cured.
And answering my smile reappeared....

When I Become Your Memory
The day will come,
seems inevitable
when everything finds its place and time,
in the sun light of morning
when we walked together,
everything seemed perfect;
as the years passed,
looking back held no importance
only now remained all we had,
perhaps, it was all
we needed and as the age began to fade
the happier experiences reappeared
that is all I leave you,
the bad times turned to good
when I become your memory....

All Safe Tucked In and Warm
It came upon a blizzard day
with gloriest rays of old
she stole the Babe
that blessed night,
and wisked Him home away
A pooring girl so sad and torn
she saw Him shivering cold
and from the church she ran
towards her dwelling place
to wrap Him in her fray
It came upon a Christmas day
as churches round the world
sang Halleluja praise the Lord
with a Babe inside a crib ,
that little Jesus reappeared
all safe, tucked in and warm !...

Lunacy
I didn't cry
I disappeared
I reappeared
didn't cry
wasn't until
weeks went by
that night
I deranged
to heave my broken body
in vain
to free the window of its drape
I didn't cry
collapsed in defeat
I lay tormented for a while
till finally
I rang
someone came
I sheepishly requested
they draw the curtain aside
my battered bag of bones and I
lay back in a sigh
overcast
and then it happened
I wept with all the gravity of the moon
Alive....

Global Warming
Global warming is not here, they said, but it's been a weird winter
Our winters are usually long, with tons of snow, cold and bitter
We had warm temps of fifty degrees a few weeks ago in January
We had a flood, bugs were seen flying in the air, ants reappeared
Birds were seen flocking to trees in droves, the air smelled like spring
Our government wants us to believe it was just a normal January thaw
We are living these climate changes, signs that global warming is here
